Installation was quick and easy. The metal mesh than housed the original HEPA filter is not removable and was discarded with the old filter. The filters are not meant to be washed and you risk water damage to the motor if you try to save money by washing the HEPA. These are not manufactured by Tineco but fit perfectly. BTW: Tineco customer service is pretty darn good compared to many manufacturers and distributors.

The 1.875-inch-long Philips screwdriver provided is too short
The 1.875-inch-long Philips screwdriver provided is too short to reach the holding screw in the 2.5 inch deep filter. You will need a longer screwdriver to replace the filter. Be careful not to drop the tiny screw.

The filter fits perfectly however the screwdriver is much to small to actually be able to use.

Tricky to install, but great replacement
These filters are great replacements to the original filters. I get many uses out of them with hand washing and drying them.The only downfall is they are tricky to install.The screw is down inside filter so can be hard to get in into the hole to tighten. However I believe this is a Tineco complaint, considering it is due to original design of vacuum
