Klaviersonaten 2 br. Piano Sonatas Vol. 2 (Multilingual Edition)

Music is close to original and very clear. Much easier to read vs some other publications

The moment I held this book, I can already feel how good it is. The paper is super thick and it lays flat because of its binding. I got this book from my teacher’s recommendation. At first, I was kinda scared to get it because I’ve never spent this much money on a single book BUT IT WAS 100% WORTH IT!!!!

Warning! I look for Mozart Sonatas on Amazon. Found Vol. 1 and then Amazon suggested Vol. 2. I bought the two but it turned out that Vol. 1 was the normal edition (with fingering) and Vol. 2 was an edition WITHOUT fingering (which I absolutely didn't want). The product description doesn't say anywhere that it has no fingering, other than in an extremely low resolution (almost illegible) image of the product. Unhappy with my purchase. This is very misleading!

Henle, urtex, editions are representing as close to the original written score as possible. If there’s a specific fingering there it’s because the composer notated it that way. It’s the teacher and student’s job to come up with fingering…and it’s a super important skill to learn. Henle is as close as you can get to seeing the composer’s original intensions-otherwise some other editor is giving their opinions on what the fingering COULD be.If you want a student score that include fingerings there is a wide range of quality. Sometimes you’ll find things edited by large men with giant hands…those aren’t always as useful for a child with small hands.

Great edition, but no fingering mark will make students difficult to study.

Besides although it was supposed to be a NEW item, it got to be pretty banged in the binding. I guess something fell on it.

So glad my classical piano teacher recommended G. Henle Verlag editions of scores to me when I was in college. Now as a piano teacher myself, I recommend G. Henle Verlag editions to my students. They are pricey, but worth it.

Ho acquistato questo spartito su indicazione della insegnante di piano di mio figlio. ho avuto difficoltà a trovarlo anche nei negozi musicali. Il prezzo secondo la mia insegnante è ottimo. Poiché queste edizioni solitamente sono piuttosto care.
