I bought these to replace older, fiber-faced, door mats here at my ranch in S. Texas. After a couple of weeks in the heat and sun, they stuck to the concrete floor so much that I had to take a scrapper to remove the mat parts that remained. They completely disintegrated and I had to use Naptha (solvent) to remove the residue that remained.

We got this to replace a mat our puppy had had one too many accidents on while house breaking her. This mat’s description said “rubber” and “waterproof” but low & behold, a 15 lb puppy pees on it and it soaks right through to the flooring below! This “rubber” material is VERY porous.Not only are we cleaning the mat she peed on but the flooring too (which we were intending to protect with the “waterproof” mat because they’re a lot cheaper to replace).So if you wear any type of damp shoes in the house don’t rely on this mat to protect your floors. The other things is that it comes wrapped up and we had it laid out under a heavy piece of furniture for a week to flatten, but it still took about a month to flatten out.The only reason I gave it two stars is that it looks nice and is true to color.

good rug, just flap it around outside to clean it or use a vacuum if you’re not lazy like me. i use mine inside by my side door so idk how it does outside or even if you’re supposed to use it outside. smelled funny when it first came, not bad funny, not like rotten fish or anything, just like rubbery and synthetic. makes sense, probably made of rubber. i’d happen a guess it’s made from rubber probably. anyway the smell went away after a week or so. gonna get a second one for the back door. i might even go a little crazy and get a third one for the front door who knows?!

We bought several of these doormats in different sizes to provide some footing traction for our aging large dog with hip problems and she was slipping on smooth tile and wood floor areas in our home. These are high quality mats that are strongly constructed with no loose materials to unravel. They lie nice and flat with no ends curled up that might cause tripping for both human and pet traffic. They clean easily with a light vacuuming. I bought six of these mats in different sizes to fit in different home areas for our dog and am very pleased with appearance and construction.
