I love this woman!
Helena just gets better and better. Her powers just keep popping out just when she needs them, I can hardly wait to see what she can do when they all develop. The jaunt through Hell was just that…hell. Along with everything else, now there are jinns, skin walking demons, to deal with. Now, fleeing for their lives with an unconscious Eric; Helena, Colt, Trowe, Beelzebub, and Leviathan escape through the portal to Atlanta. Who know what they will find.

This just gets better and better
Encounter With the Devil by Maya Daniels is the 3rd installment in The Broken Halos seriesMan, this just gets better and better. It might even be my favorite of the series. This book takes off right where we ended in book 2 and doesn’t let you off the ride until the very end.Helena and Eric are now in Hell trying to close the gate that had been accidentally open. But being here they quickly learn not everything is as what it seems. New characters are introduced, new threats arise and new allies are formed.I was completely breathless and blown away with the heart pounding action and excitement and that crazy cliffy at the end. I loved it!!!The book was fantastic and can’t wait for the next one

What a fun series!
I really have no constructive criticism to offer. Perhaps a higher level editor, but the editing was good enough. The first entry in the series is a fun, adventuresome, somewhat formulaic read. Entry two begins to show a greater level of creativity in the narrative. But this third entry is incredible! There is no formula adherence here. We now see the author really take the reigns as the story and it's characters gain complexity. What an incredible treat this third installment has been. Daniels did an awesome job.

Another POC for my DNF pile
So I lied in my review in the second book of this series when I said I would continue reading it, in spite of the poor writing and ludicrous number of errors. This book is even worse...mistakes such as “lended here” instead of “landed here”, “muttered something intangible” instead of “muttered something unintelligible” and more just landed (not lended) this book in my virtual file of “Awful Pieces of Crap I Will Waste No More Time On”, aka my DNF pile.If bad writing, especially from so-called authors who don’t even know 8th grade vocabulary, bother you, definitely give this entire series a miss. Even the interesting story can’t make up for the egregious errors. You’re welcome

Each Book Gets Even Better
Helena and Eric are in hell due to the portal she opened. They are further away from the portal then they would have liked. Eric believes it is due to wards. Eric hides them from what Helena thinks is a dragon. It causes her severe pain, she wonders why Eric is hiding like he is. After awhile they see two demons attacking a boy. Helena will not let that stand. She attacks them, but quickly remembers she is hell. That everything is different than the human realm. Helena makes the decision to go see Lucifer, she wants answers. Eric is not happy over her decision, he will still go with her. Eric is not the same, he hiding a lot from her. Helena also feels her anger is more out of control in hell. Helena will also learn about her father, who he is. Helena also is realizing her true feeling about Eric and their bond. Helena learns that all the things are not what they seem. Things are going to get even more out of control. This book was even better than the last, I enjoyed reading it so much. I literally could not stop reading it. It is non-stop action, twist and turners, romance. There is so much in there for everyone. There are so many details in this book I didn't write about as it would spoil some part of the story. I highly recommend reading this book/ series, you will not regret it. I can't wait to dig into another book.I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my honest and voluntary review

Encounter with the devil
This book is so fast paced, it is very difficult to put down. I really enjoyed the story line and the development of the characters. I love Helena's sass, I think her new sidekick is amazing and I love what she has with Eric. He is quite a deep character. Definitely keep going with this series. It is great!
