I love all of 'This Works' products. I have many allergies and this really soothes aching muscles.It's easy to apply and smells fantastic. Definitely endorse this Massage Relief.

Being a 71 year old dancer, I developed a painful hip and this not only relieved the pain but enabled me to use my hip normally and continue ballet and contemporary dance.

I suffer with fibromyalgia and have always struggled with sleep. I use magnesium spray nightly currently (with lavender), but wondered if the addition of CBD might help and also ease some tension in my jaw too as I grind my teeth. I can't say it's a miracle-worker, and it is very pricey, but it is nice and helps me relax.Pros:- Convenient roller meaning I'm more inclined to use it- Nice scent with a traditional hempy CBD smell- Relaxing/loosening effectCons:- Really priceyIt's supposed to help with "muscle tension", "muscle discomfort" and "muscle stiffness" (in up to 78% users, and only localised) and these are fairly bold claims really and just what I need with chronic issues. Because it's so expensive it's difficult to want to use a lot of this stuff everywhere that aches (like my jaw, shoulders, neck). Therefore I primarily use it on nights I'm extra sore or need extra aid, rather than daily.When I do use it, I do think I may have had deeper sleep and relaxed a bit more. Whether it's psychosomatic or not, I also seem to get to sleep quicker too without so many thoughts racing through my head but it's hard to tell whether the action of using this makes me be more mindful. Either way, it can only be positive and I'd say that it helps a little bit with achiness and sleep resistance. Not enough to shout about, but enough to want to carry on using it and know it will help a little bit.It smells alright if you like that traditional "hemp", earthy smell, mixed with the sort of metallic hint of magnesium. It tingles a little bit on me personally (that could be the black pepper or the cloves as extra warming ingredients) but it doesn't aggravate my sensitive skin. It absorbs quickly too but you still have to apply a good amount.Hopefully my opinion helps! I'd say it's aimed at anybody with aches and pains needing attention but especially those looking for help with sleep, but just because it costs more doesn't mean it is guaranteed to work. 5% CBD does seem to make a difference over other sleep balms, and either way, CBD and magnesium are both reliable ingredients, so it's a gamble worth trying if you can justify the price.

I am by no means a professional athlete but based on my schedule I typically have evening workouts. As a result, falling asleep can often be difficult due to the remaining adrenaline that still lingers after a workout. I have been using this roller after my workouts on my targeted muscle groups just before bed and I found that it not only helped me fall asleep a little faster, but it also helped improved muscular recovery.This is because the Salve (what's inside the roller) is derived from magnesium, CBD (possibly hemp), Black pepper and clove. The magnesium notoriously improves sleep whilst having a positive impact of muscle recovery, CBD will calm your body down and hence improve your sleep quality. The black pepper would improve the benefits so that they are more potent and long lasting.I personally did not mind the fragrance though it wasn't the most appealing. It is unisex of course, though perhaps some lavender would help make it feel and smell more dreamy. Once the Salve has been applied through the roller, it is easy to massage into the skin and it doesn't leave any residue.Hence, overall 4 stars. The dispenser is great rolling on like deodorant. The smell I can only describe as medicinal, but it's not unpleasant. Tried it for a few nights but it had no effect on my sleep whatsoever. However, i had been taking ibuprofen for a few days due to an ache in my thigh. I massaged some of this in and it went within half an hour, brilliant. Used it a few times since as well.

This works is a brand that I do like but only buy as a gift or for a treat as it is so expensive.You get just 50 ml for £38 so it is like liquid gold.It looks pretty similar to a roll on deodorant but the ball is a massger which helps the contents of the product work deeper into your muscles and helps you relax.The actua product comprises of a mixture of magnesium, CBD, black pepper and clove. ou can smell the clove as soon as you start applying it. I use magnesium oil on my feet at night as it is meant to help sleep and CBD is well accepted as being an ingredient that helsp with pain.#These ingredients combine pain relief with relaxtion while the roller ball applicator gets deeperinto juscles and is a massager to helpthe ingredients work even faster.I really like this product and enjoy using it as it does help my aching muscles but the price is off putting and means that tis is something I would only buy ocassionally as a treatand not something I would use regularly. Hence the four star rating
