My cat would get her back legs stuck alot and she was able to get out of it if I didn't pin it tighter. She's 10 yrs old and 8 lbs so I got her a lg so it wouldn't be too tight on after sugary.

My cat hated it.

I had to return the two suits I purchased due to the sizing being a bit too short in length despite me measuring adequately, and also the neck area too stretchy allowing my cat to escape from it.

I've ordered other cat recovery suits and really liked them! They are an amazing tool to aid in recovery of kittens after spay surgery and also have helped massively to calm our cat and improve her behavior. However, this one isn't the one to buy. It's cotton jersey, which is nice except that she only wore it one time for a few days and it already had small holes in it near the Velcro on the back. The neck is also too wide and stretchy and it slips off of her way too easily. If you're looking for a good recovery suit, look elsewhere.

I ordered several styles of cone devices, as well as size s and m in this suit since her measurements were in between sizes. She wanted nothing to do with the neck cones/pillows, but I put on this suit for her to wear when I couldn't be next to her to keep her from licking and scratching her incision (at bedtime in her little crate, or if I needed to be out of room for more than a few minutes). She absolutely LOVED this suit.Only issue was the small was almost too small and the medium is a bit too long so she isn't able to have it one when she needs to potty because both sizes end up covering up where she would be eliminating from. If she gets up at night needing to go potty it is really easy to slip off back legs and refasten velcro so she can do her business.My husband thought it was a fluke on night 2 when I asked her if she was ready to put her pjs on and she came right to me and waited for me to get them on her. But she gets so excited every night to wear them. I did end up cutting a section out of the smaller sized suit making that opening more of a deeper u shaped design, so she can have her incision still covered, but giving her the ability to use the potty so I can leave her in her larger pen if I need to run a quick errand during the day. We are going to try stitching around where I cut the fabric so hopefully it will still wash up well.If the altered one holds up well to washing we will order a few more for her since she loves wearing them so much, perfect to give a little extra warmth come winter time since she shivers all the time, but hates the other clothes options we have tried on her.
