Trust Your Designer
A designers designer! Sheryl explains the intricate and personal experiences of working with clients who have the desire to create spaces that compliment and balance their busy lives. The book highlights how Sheryl cultivates her Designer-Client relationships, as are paramount to project satisfaction and positive working relationships. A successful design is based on respect and trust, and Sheryl recognizes that expectations go both ways. She explains how her experiences have enhanced each and every project and how she will continue to learn and challenge herself for all clients to come. The honesty that Sheryl shares about her successes and challenges are inspirational to designers and homeowners alike. I fully appreciate the creature comfort of the "recliner" and found much humor and reality in her struggle to solve this "elephant in the room", literally! A must read for anyone wanting to create a space that welcomes them home after a long busy day of life.

Telling it like it is
A great book that reminds you why you hire professionals. I love HGTV and have watched it like it was my JOB at times, but a couple of hours of entertainment is NOT a replacement for hiring a professional to implement your vision for where you will live. I appreciated the stories of the do's, do not do's and the pitfalls that I can see myself falling in to.Great job, by the author in illustration the True and Lies of Interior Design!
