Wisdom of the Sadhu: Teachings of Sundar Singh

Not exactly a transparent collection of the teachings and interactions of the Sadhu
I was excited to acquire a collection of “the wisdom of” Sundar Singh, as I had been greatly blessed and challenged by reading about him, and bits of his writings. However, the author/editor of this book fails to distinguish between her own voice (as she describes, with greater or lesser grounding in the historical record, situations and recreates what she thinks he might have said) and the voice of the Sadhu. This rather ruined it for me; while the careful reader should be able to hear the difference and distinguish between the two, the effort of sorting out the pieces very much detracts from the purposes of reading it. The difficulty is greater in narrative situations, where one wonders how much of the descriptions is distorting embellishment and how much is genuinely representative.

An OPEN DOOR
“I am the door. If anyone enters by me he will be saved And will go in and out and find pasture”This is a Spirit breathed book and clearly shows that you can enter into the reality of the Kingdom of God which is in you.The MASTER awaits you.

A book to inspire and deepen your faith.
I was "blown away" by this amazing book. I've already lent it out but hope to buy another copy soon. Very challenging. Well-written.
