Absolutely Amazing!!!
Dragon Revival was a mind-blowing adrenaline rush tempered by beautiful descriptive scene setting and thought provoking problem solving. Del, who completely stole my heart in the first book of the series, grows exponentially throughout this book in ways that drastically change how he thinks and how he approaches problems. Etenia also grows into her own woman, no longer operating on the sole purpose of gaining her father's approval, focusing primarily instead on creating a school and a fighting force to protect Pothena. The plotline is the right mix of action adventure and deep contemplation, with a delightful undercurrent of somewhat sardonic humor. This book is a great read and fans of Tolkien, Anne McAffrey, and Linda K. Hopkins will rejoice in Richardson's elegant writing style and subtle and nuanced humor.

An Almost Great Storyline
I love stories about dragons. I pretty much loved this story. Except for one glaring omission. When world-building there has to be a cohesive logic to the new world. When taking characters from a steamy world environment into a really cold set of environs, they are bound to notice the change in temperature. This story gave a nod to acknowledging that change a few times but failed to provide any information on what the creative problem-solving characters did about now being cold. It’s fine to have them choose to remain cold but there needs to be some narrative element explaining why they are not learning to wear extra clothes or cloaks or making gloves or creating a staying-warm spell. Humans don’t ignore that kind of temperature shift. They adapt some sort of response. Which means when the author totally ignores that basic world-response the reader keeps falling out of the flowing storyline to wonder why there is such a gaping hole in the world’s inner logic. I enjoyed the story & characters but really found myself stumbling over this missing element that could have been resolved so easily. It made the storyline’s world seem less well crafted, more like it was rushed into publication without even the simple editorial tool of second readers. So a definite thumbs up on this book but with a small sigh of disappointment.

Thank you, Ava.
The street kid is a great choice for a hero. I loved the transitions of the characters. I look forward to the next book.

Enchanting fantasy
I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first book of the series. Dal & Etenis' adventures continued to their homeland. Lots of new characters & dragons! I love the way Ava Richardson leads the reader through her fantasy world, but manages to throw in twists & curves to really keep things interesting! Can't wait to read book 3!

A very entertaining and enjoyable series!
Congratulations to Ava Richardson for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

From the Sea
Out numbered 5 to 1 would be bad but this is more like 100 To 1.Yet it seems there is nothing to do but fight for a place and people you dislike. It looks for now you've won have you celebrated to soon? There is another book in this trilogy.Get fantasy

Her books are keepers
It can be soooo difficult to find a writer who checks all the boxes!!!!But Ava delivers a series that is full of magic, the ultimate fantasy requisite of dragons, a merry band of people who are set on overcoming evil. Her characters are struggling with the same doubts and fears that are universal and are changing based experiences and self knowledge. And last but not least her cover art is extraordinary. Something I would actually put on my wall, because.....Dragons!
