Spent considerable time looking for storage solution on Amazon and settled on four of these units. Summary of my experience follows below:BUYING CRITERIA: Non-cloth solution that would fit a very specific space, accommodate a "growing household" (kid), and cost well under $100.00. Unfortunately, everything I saw on Amazon that looked decently sturdy pushed me over my original price point. In the absence of viable options I took a chance on this.PROS: Easy to assemble and holds up well with some "bandages." On a hard, flat surface, these things hold-up adequately but do slip. I bolstered with Wobble Wedges , two-sided tape (both purchased on Amazon), and a plastic shelf liner to give it the stability sought. I feel this solution will be easy to maintain over time. The design allows for vertical expansion as well if you need, in the future.CONS: Not the strongest shelves and I can see these bowing over time. You could strengthen the shelves with center rods and frankly, I might do so over time. Not sure how this will impact the ease of access though. On their own, each unit is quite flimsy and light - I also feel they are a little overpriced (should be under $20 each).OVERALL: Good but not great. In contrast to some of the cloth storage options, these are more expensive, but the modular feature to accommodate specifically sized needs helps make the price point more digestable.

I’m pretty impressed with this shoe rack. My son wears a size 14 and I looked and looked for a shoe holder for him, but all the reviews said if your foot is above the size don’t bother. The shoe rack fits his shoes pretty well. It’s a little flimsy but I think it would do fine with smaller size shoes and it does fine with the size he has too. I would 100% recommend the shoe rack especially for larger size shoes because they fit.

For the money, I was quite disappointed in the lack of quality of the materials. It is quite thin and flimsy. I'd expect something of this quality to cost about half as much. This is also probably better for this with small feet/shoes. My womens size 10 sneakers hang out over the edges.Now, the design is pretty clever the way the pieces universally fit together. I just really wish the plastic was sturdier.All in all it will get the job done, but definitely not worth the cost.

Works great if you only have two pairs of shoes, anything more the plastic begins to buckle. I have to throw it all out.
