Works great for a small breed puppy. The bowls are a bit on the small size but works perfectly for my yorkie pup who’s 14 weeks old

While this product is a great concept, it winds up being very dirty very fast. The water bowl easily gets contaminated with the food being dropped in it. The fact that the water reservoir doesn't have a removable liner makes it a constant chore to deal with. You have to unscrew it and take the whole assembly out of the cage to dump the contaminated water out several times a day. Plus, the food gets water slopped into it from the animal because it is in very close proximity to the water reservoir. I like the concept, but it is not very practical. I bought 2 of these and now I am buying separate ones to replace these.

The reservoir bottle cap is supposed to fit into the drinking area. The cap and the receptacle are 'slotted' to only fit a certain way. The problem is that the fit is so tight, that if you get it INTO the receptacle properly, so that it keeps the water level constant in the bowl, it is just about impossible to remove. If you DO get the bottle/reservoir off, you've left the cap stuck in the receptacle. If you are only trying to clean the bowl area, you just made a mess since the bottle discharged the entire contents in one fell swoop. I got this unit due to the size - my need was something that would fit into a small area. I wish I had kept looking for other options. This thing is more trouble than it is worth.

Water dispenser does not work. Would not recommend this product if gone entire day.

This product was not useable in med size animal crate. Too big. Ended up giving it away at Petsmart in our way to the airport and had to buy different water dish
