This is a great pillow - soft yet supportive. My neck pain has decreased immensely and my quality of sleep has improved tremendously.

This pillow takes some getting used to and some work getting the water level right. But once you do, it creates a much more restful sleep. It's super heavy, so if you like to move your pillow around a lot, you might find it difficult to get used to. For me, it has been worth it for the better sleep and reduced soreness I have been experiencing. Good purchase.

Would like to have known that the fill valve was located on the outside of the pillow. This makes it a one sided pillow because if you turn it over your head is now laying diretly on tthe hard plastic fill valve. Also I tried filling it with the recommended amounts of water for soft, medium or hard levels the pillow never felt hard enough and became so heavy at the medium level that you could not turn it over. aaaaaaaaaaast the hardest level it was so heavy with water that I could barley pick it up while standing.This thing is total junk and I hope Amazon takes it off the market before someone else gets screwed by purchasing this pillow!

I have cervical dystonia (all my neck/shoulder muscles are permanently tied in knots) and have used the regular Mediflow Waterbase pillows for years. They have helped me tremendously in my battle of pain. When I found out about the down pillow I ordered one immediately. Talk about phenomenal comfort - WOW! I would recommend this pillow to anyone who has neck pain issues - hands down.The only problem I've had with this pillow is that many standard size pillowcases are too small to fit properly. Just use high end pillowcases that are oversized.

Unfortunately it's flat without enough water and not very comfortable with too much water... I am trying not to give up on it yet but it hasn't helped my neck issues.

I found that I was very uncomfortable trying to sleep with it. Couldn't get a good night sleep and the pillow was too heavy. Tried medium first them went to soft and still wasn't sleeping well and my neck was bothering me also.

The only pillow that allows me to wake up without a headache. I have rheumatoid arthritis, and a tendency toward migraines. My old Mediflow pillow wore out after years of use, and I tired to make do with a cheaper regular pillow. It got to where I had a headache every single morning and I finally gave in and bought this pillow. From the first night, the headaches are gone. I really like the down better than my old fiberfill Mediflow as well.

I would highly recommend these pillow for people who are very sensitive about the firmness of their pillows as well as for people who have neck injuries or trouble sleeping due to their pillows. I have always been very sensitive about what kind of pillows I use. My neck tends to get out of whack very easily and I also have a problem with experiencing nightmares if my pillow is too firm and my head is stuck at the wrong angle. Most pillows in retail are designed to be firm. I've bought dozens of different pillows in all different price ranges and with all different fillers. I've even tried the Seen on TV pillows and customized my own pillows with buckwheat, a sleep remedy going back a hundred years that still didn't work for me!My brother's a Chiropractor and he recommended trying these Mediflow pillows. I have bought several of them over the years and I've noticed that not all of the water pillows are made equal. Some can have really thin bladder bags inside that don't hold much water or they quickly start to leak. I've found the Mediflow pillow to be the best because it has a thick and insulated bag so the water stays inside and doesn't make you feel cold. The filler of the pillow itself is light and soft and the water weight can be adjusted to make a firmer or softer pillow according to your preference. I was worried about dripping water on the pillow while I was filling it up. The pillow's outer shell appears to be water resistant and it dried very fast so I had no trouble with mold. It took me a few times to get the water amount exactly where I wanted it. I still had to take some of the filler out of it to make the pillow softer, but I did notice a strong improvement with the water base and my neck wasn't always going the wrong way when I woke up.With the water base, it conforms to the neck and shoulders and the weight of a person doesn't seem to affect it or make it go flat. I would recommend not sitting on this pillow as the bladder bag that carries the water could pop or start to leak.

The item is as it is shown. What cannot be shown is that it is filled with down so it is soft to hold and your head just sinks into the pillow. The water makes your head float and you can add as much water as you want to change the firmness of the pillow. I bought the original mediflow but the foam made it too thick for my liking and too firm. This is my perfect pillow. I wish it could be a queen or king size…….but it isn’t………it’s still the best pillow. This is the 2nd one is 10 years for me……..never leaked, never moldy - no complaints at all.
