Great Durable Multipurpose Reusable Bags! Seal is so good, sometimes hard to open
These are awesome as far as durability and cleaning ease. If you freeze something in them, just place in hot water to loosen material inside to pop out and then microwave or cook on the stove.I sometimes use for small batches of pancakes to be frozen. The problem with taking them in and out of the freezer is the lack of ease to open these bags primarily when very cold. I have to warm the seam with my hands and then work it open. The strength of the seal is a good thing to keep food fresh and either dry or moist, but they really should have made the flap at the top a good inch or so...maybe just a pull tab sort of design. This would make these bags a lot easier to open. I have tiny hands, but I still have a hard time opening these when the material is very cold. There just is not enough bag material at the top to pull on for opening.*BlueAvocado...please consider improving your design with added material at the top to help with opening.*Otherwise, these are super sturdy and I think they were built to last, as long as you don't tear them when trying to open. To dry after hand washing, I just prop them open with a small wooden utensil perpendicular to the seam, and set it upside down on the rack. It only takes a moment to do this.

Stop using flimsy "disposable" bags.
These are perfect for anyone who doesn't like to waste money and wants to help the environment.I got these bags hoping that they would help me reduce my plastic usage. I used to reuse "disposable" plastic bags for about a week before they got too gross and I had to throw them away. And if you try to clean the disposable bags they generally just tore, ruining them.My biggest worry was how difficult they would be to clean and how sturdy they were. If they were flimsy they wouldn't be worth the money. As soon as I opened the package I knew they were sturdy. These are thick! They will not be tearing any time soon. And they are easy to close with an obvious seal.So the big question: are they easy to clean. Yes! I put a tiny drop of soap in each bag and a splash of warm water. I seal the bag and then I shake it thoroughly. Then I rinse and wipe it out with a paper towel. It takes about 3 minutes to clean all 5.I'm super impressed with these!

I'm surprised how much I like these
I bought these cause I was feeling guilty about how many plastic bags I was using each day packing lunches for myself and my wife. I bought them expecting to use them for a week then go back to my ways. Im super surprised. Its been 6 months and now I'm annoyed if my wife uses all of them and I dont have any. We are buying more as I write this! The plastic is thick and very durable feeling. The zipper is awesome and never leaks. The sizes are perfect. The bigger ones fit a sandwich easily and the smaller ones fit snacks like vegetables or nuts. They are really easy to clean. I fill them with warm water and squirt some soap in, zip them up and shake them for 10 seconds. All the food comes out and then I rinse them.Drying can be a little tricky. You have to have a drying rack that can keep them open or I fold them in on themselves to prop them up so they drip dry on a towel. See the picture of one of them crumpled on itself drying.Overall, great bags, great quality and super functional. I also feel really glad every time I use them and don't have to throw away another plastic bag.

Made packing lunch so easy!
I loved these bags. They really are waterproof which was a relief when I wanted to pack something like mangos. They were very easy to clean but you have to pay attention to the zipper part that all the bits of food don't get stuck in there. There would occasionally be a problem with the zipper being hard to work or being on the wrong track, but the instructions tell you to rub a bit of oil on it and it works! It's been a long time since I bought these and as things are, these were temporal. They did last a very long time and I forget just how they done. But I felt like I got good usage out of them. (In fact, around the same time I bought others from Target and I still have them. This was a year ago.)And there's the feeling you get from using them. I'm saving the planet one bag at a time.

Great for awhile...
So going zero waste is all about reusing/up-using/re-purposing/etc. and not throwing stuff out. I love that concept and have been trying to do that for the past few months. I saw these bags a few months ago, and I decided to give it a go and haven't once regretted it.I like the material it's made of and it's durable, too. The zipper is thick and easily closes but has a very good seal and keep things in without any leakage (if I bring carrots, I always keep a little water in the bag, not a lot but enough to keep them crisp and fresh until lunch). The various sizes work well for me too and since I have a small lunch bag, these bags work perfectly. They're easy to clean but they do stain. I always bring carrots (once I have to peel and prep myself) and they do stain the insides but it's no big deal to me. I also like the they don't hold in any smells. Some bags retain smells from past foods and I hated that. These don't!UPDATE: 6/7/18. While I still love these bags and use them, a couple of the bags have become suddenly difficult to zip up, as though the groves are warped or something but when I check, they look fine. I don't know why this has happened since I hand wash them and I lay them down by themselves with nothing on top of them. I can zip it up (eventually) but it take some effort and a few tries... :/

Great zip bags
We have been using these for school lunches. They zip easier than another brand we have used previously and also stay zipped better. Some of the corners are a bit tricky to get clean but not impossible. I would definitely recommend.
