Works very well
Things I liked: I use this device to schedule and dim my pool light.. It was easy to install, works as I expected.Things I didn't like: The printed instructions for advanced programming with features I wanted to use, were complicated. However, the instructions for that same functionality in the app were easy to follow. The printed instructions should have recommended that the user download and use the app for advanced programming. The other feature I was a bit disappointed in was that the bluetooth feature is supposed to work within about 30' of the device. I found that the bluetooth doesn't work through walls. I use this switch in an outside location with a "while in use" cover which protects it from the elements. I needed to be outside, have line-of-sight to the device, and be within about 15 ' of it to get it to pair and to adjust settings. That said, for my use I don't expect to change the settings on the device very often, if ever. There is a Wi-Fi version of this switch for anyone who needs to program it remotely.

Great Bluetooth switch, not compatible with ANY home automation systems (yet).
This is a super switch and works as advertised, at least for the two days I had it installed. The rocker is intuitive and easy to use and the LED lights show the dimming level. Unfortunately the main reason I was looking for a connected switch is because my dining room switch is next to the garage door with no 3-way near the entry hallway and I wanted to be able to turn on the light easily from the direction I actually enter the room. This switch does work with the Leviton app for iPhone, but it lagged several seconds every time I connected, which is not nice for every day, all day, use. The real killer for me is that Bluetooth switches, and this switch in particular, are not supported by ANY home automation system: not Wink, not SmartThings, not Amazon Echo, not IFTTT, not Siri, nothing. The matching 3-way switch requires in-wall wiring and isn't suitable for my situation. I ended up returning this switch and purchasing the Lutron Caseta dimming switch and Pico remote which did exactly what I wanted AND works with my Amazon Echo; I just don't like the layout of the switch as much as the Leviton.

Digital Dimmer & Timer in One = Genius
Having bluetooth to quickly program this with the Leviton Decora Digital app on my iPhone was very simple. In my case, I'm using it for two new dark-sky type garage door lights. Of course, like most lighting fixtures they are rated for 60 watts max (incandescent) but I wanted to put 100 watt or even 150 watt bulbs in for when I wanted a lot of light in our driveway for when doing projects or kids playing, but for 95% of the time to have them dimmed down to a very subtle level. This dimmer/timer allowed me to set it up to automatically come on from dusk to dawn and I found that 35% is the exact setting I like. When I want to go full power, just tap the dimmer itself to full power for those few times a month I want to light up the night (you could use the app also, but it's a few more steps). There a lot of additional extra settings to fine tune your light scenes and it will work with LED, CFL's and more. A very well thought out product if you do not need it to sync with other "smart home" systems. I have those too, but in this case my garage security lighting was mostly a set it and forget it endeavor and for the price, this is a great product very thoughtfully engineered and nice to look at.

Great Timer Switch!
This switch is great for applications where you want the lights on a regular/semi regular schedule. If you are looking for a switch that you can easily control via smartphone, this is not for you. These switches are Bluetooth programmable, so you can program them by syncing your phone, but the sync process does take a while (10-15 seconds), so again, not great for lights you want to turn on and off on demand. The location feature is great for sunrise/sunset operation, no need to adjust for the season.

Good idea gone wrong; Schedules are executed randomly; Do not buy
Bought this item and the DD00R-DLZ remote for a bedroom. The goal was to turn on the lights each morning at a specific set of times. (6:30 am at 25% and every 15 minutes until at 100%. All year round.) Had an "extra" older iPhone that is permanently connected to power and used every day. The iPhone is about 15 feet away. Right after pulling out the old 3 way switches, I realized this device needed a completely different connection. Why? This device requires permanent power and most of the switches in my (old) house are "in-line" with the light. After finally reconfiguring the lines, I was able to install the switch and the remote to control a set of daylight LED's. Downloaded the app and programmed the switch. Everything worked great for about a week. After that, the schedule just wasn't maintained. At first, the switch would do nothing until I resync'd it with the iPhone. I tried to do this on a weekly basis until I had more time to diagnose. More recently, it seems like the switch is losing time because it will run the schedule at nearly random times. Resync'ing to the iPhone didn't help. No battery to replace. No way to fix. Now, I'm faced with finding a different company that makes scheduled switches. (Will not be Leviton! Too many bad experiences now.)PRO: Great idea; Configuration app isn't bad; Pairing worked fine; Worked great when it worked.CON: The "always on" wiring config can cause installation issues; Very sensitive to brand and model of LED lights (may be an industry thing... Dimmer switch and LED companies need to get together with a protocol or common set of electrical characteristics); Slightly different LED model can cause buzzing/noise; After a few weeks, schedule stopped working; Switch has slightly cheaper feel compared to more professional switchesRECOMMENDATION: I would NOT recommend this device to others. The scheduling feature doesn't work. While the dimming (once you get "compatible" LED's) works and the remote works, my older nondigitial dimmer switch worked better. The switch works as a simple dimmer "3-way" switch but I can't rely on it for any schedules. Can't seem to get any manufacturer support. (I tried again today...)
