TCL 55US57 55" 4K Ultra HD 2160p 120Hz Roku Smart LED HDTV

Bought this for a furnished short term rental and love it. Picture quality is excellent. The Roku remote is so simple to use, while providing tons of content. Lightweight and can be mounted flush to the wall to free up space.This is far better than my personal setup at home, that includes three remotes and an extra box for the Roku. I bought a second, smaller one for the bedroom.

Great experience

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this TV in June of 2017. I understand in was a inexpensive TV and I cant expect the world out of if but Ive had it 13 months and its not working correctly. The dark colors, seem to be extra dark and scrambled. The picture is extremely messed up from whatever this problem is. As far as I understand the product has a 1 year warranty and I am 1 month past that so im out of luck. I contacted the company. They had me fill out at questionnaire of whats wrong with video, which I did but no response. I would not recommend this product at all!! After 13 months of purchasing this I now need to buy a new TV. Do not buy this product, put the extra money into a reliable company. I wish I would of!

Tv was a great price, but was unaware it would not come with a power cord or remote (or screws for the legs). No where in the description did it say buyer would have to purchase those separately. Hopefully the tv works, no way of knowing since we cannot turn it on...

Good - Image is good, and while a little cumbersome to set up, the smart tv features are fairly well developed. Sound is on par with what I expected.Bad - Item arrived without a remote, power cord, or screws for the legs. It did have the legs however...which I found odd.Getting It Working - I bought a generic programmable remote, a power cord, and the screws for the legs (M4, 25mm), all for about $15. It's not an ideal situation to have to "complete" the purchase, but it is overcome with relative ease.

This tv is great. The price was good. Delivery was quick. It’s not super heavy so I could set it up on my own. And getting everything set up was easy. I love that the little remote is so simple and works everything.

The general picture quality seemed fine and the built in Roku was great. However, after a few days, I noticed that during dark scenes or dark grey backgrounds (such as DirecTVNow startup screen) that there is a large bright spot area at the center of the screen. It very annoying during night scenes or dark interiors scenes.On the upside, the Roku integration is great. Roku apps work well and the combined TV/Roku remote is convenient. Only issue is Roku cannot directly play media files over the internal network, but needs a streaming service application running on the media server. FireTV and my old Nexus player can play files directly without needing to install and run a streaming service application on the media server.Update: I found on a website a solution to the large bright spot, which is called "clouding""Turn the TV off. Take a clean, lint-free (preferably brand-new) cloth and wipe, using firm yet cautious pressure, from the center of the screen to the edges. Repeat until the visibility of the clouds is reduced."This worked for my TV. Upgrading my rating to four stars.

it runs so much smoother and faster than just a roku stick I love it. The menu has pictures for the Xbox, Wii, and the tv so they can easily change between settings on thier own. It's light weight this was great for me, it means I could hang it and jot wait two weeks for my husband to get home to help hang it. I put it on a gyroscopic arm. My one gripe is that the power cord is short and should be centered.
