This is not Le Creuset, but it's not £480 either! It's just a perfectly functional casserole pot for the money and will easily cook a large joint or chicken, or even two items at once, which should save a few quid on the electricity. The lid isn't meant to be tight fitting, or the steam would blow it off. It's designed so that the juices drip back into the dish and it works well. The rack is great as you can slice a few onions etc, put the rack on top of them and let everything simmer. I wish people would stop cruising the web for the cheapest item and then complain that it was cheap!!
