I was struggling trying to figure out the amount of acres I had to lease out to a farmer for crop production. There are a lot of fingers of timber coming out into the fields so it was impossible to measure it. This device made it so easy to calculate the acreage. It is simple to set up and operate. After I had the proper information entered I slowly drove the field edges on a ATV and went around until I returned to my starting point. It not only calculated the acreage but had a map of the area and the $ amount calculated. It was automatically saved to the history. It made the impossible measurement for me possible and now I no longer have to wonder if I am over charging or not charging enough. Loved this little simple to operate device.

There is nothing to like with this item. It wouldn't take a charge then it would. Then it wouldn't turn on unless plugged in. Once I was able to get it to stay on it provided strange results such as showing tens of feet in movement in "2 point distance" mode while stationary.See picture showing distance masurment with unit on my desk. The altitude measurement changes also while stationary and displays in meters regardless of units selected in settings. The selection buttons are sticky and don't always return after pressing. Don't waste your time or money on this item.

Its accuracy is not going next to a GPS surveying equipment, but I was surprised just how accurate the one I purchased is. It is usually within a few seconds of known locations. You may have to convert decimal degree minutes to minutes and seconds depending upon the information you are comparing it to the unit.

I stood on a survey marker on my land. I took a latitude and longitude reading. It did not correspond with the survey the county property line map shows

Highly recommend this GPS. Easy to use.

Do not buy this item, very difficult or impossible to operate, especially when changing from distance to vector displacement modes.

Awesome product and I will recommend anyone looking for a GPS to measure land or distance. but I need an online manual or video to explain how to use some features.
