Rust-Oleum Zinsser 98015 4-Inch Scraper Refill Blades

The razor edge on these will dull as fast as regular length blades but being wider, they do take off a bit more. We had four painted windows that needed scraping and ended up doing most with conventional blades. However, for scraping rough surfaces, the razor edge isn't as critical and they hold up quite nicely.

They are wide blades and make the job easier.

Added these to my tools, and with the Zinsser Scraper, they made short work of old wallpaper. You just have to go at it with the Zinsser Wallpaper Remover Tool, spray the wallpaper with a remover solution, and find the right angle of attack. The wallpaper came off in large sheets, much easier than we imagined.

If you have a lot of wallpaper to scrape, get these refills. A fresh blade helps a lot and will save time by preventing damage to the drywall underneath.

Not much to say about blade refills. But, these are exactly what I needed for my scraper. The reason I gave it 4 stars is b/c once the plastic is off the blade refill packaging, it is hard to separate the blades from each other. They slipped and nicked me.

I got the 4-inch scraper handle with one blade, and realized that I wanted to have a sharp edge the whole time during my condo renovation job. They are not razor sharp, but almost. They can do a lot of damage, so use cautiously. I got them to help scrape old latex paint off walls, sills, etc. I can now change blades and maintain a good edge, or if a blade gets gunked up, chpiped, or broken.
