Authentic Mexican Falsa Blanket (Turquoise)

This item was perfect! The color matched the photo (maybe the blues are truer than the other colors?), the size was big enough to cover a full-size bed, and the thickness is good for use as a folded yoga blanket or as a spread out picnic blanket.The blanket is a little little bit thinner than blankets I have from Mexico, but both have the same open/loose weave. It's the nature of the blanket to have a loose weave; if you want to tighten it up a little run it through a few passes of a sewing machine the full length and width (think quilting a few widely spaced rows). I'd even attach one by quilting it to a cheap comforter to make it more durable if I really wanted one that could last through a lot of wear.It is a pain to click through all the colors to see what color is what price - I wish the seller could just make them all the same price or make the $9.99 one easy to find. The price was great though: I live in Los Angeles and I can't get blankets this cheap! Will definitely buy a few more for use as car seatcovers, camping blankets, and yoga blankets!Make sure you read the dimensions, like I said this blanket was huge but some sellers sell a smaller version.

This is a great blanket especially for the price. I did think about giving it 4 stars because all the pictures show blankets with a grey base and i got a tan base with an accent color. I orderd with the intention of receiving a grey blanket with an accent color. I decided to give it 5 anyways because it still looks nice with the tan. I did email a list of colors and they sent me a color on my list so that was nice too. Im in pa and the weather is a little cool today so im already using the blanket. Its got a little weight to it and i like that. I have a feeling im going to buy more in the future as accent pieces and bedding. They are a great size, great for a twin bed. It was delivered pretty fast too. The blanket smelled fine when i got it, actually its smell less. I think some reviews said their was a weird smell. My blanket was smell free.

I’ve always loved this style of blanket and wanted a few to put in my Jeep for outings and for dogs to lay on. These are perfect and you can’t beat the value.

It just came in yesterday and I'm Loving it! Tossed it in the wash on delicate cycle then dried on the same. Just want to get the smell out. I grew up with these and was reminded of how much I loved them when I walked in to a new yoga class and there they were. A flood of memories came washing over me, slumber parties at our neighbors house. Using these as horse blankets. My intention was to use it for yoga, but now it's snuggled up with me and the pup on the couch. Going to have to order one for Daddy too.

This review is based on the blanket I ordered from the vendor GotMedStuff. I was surprised by its quality. It is actually thicker and has a heavier weight than what I've used at the yoga studio, which is impressive. I have no complaints. It does its intended job of supporting me in some poses. The color is also true to what was pictured. I think I want to buy another one actually.

I got my blanket today and washed it. It got softer but I was disappointed in the quality and the color. The blanket I ordered was supposed to be coral but it's more hot pink. The sides were finished with a surger and it is a looser weave. For the price it will work but I got better quality in a flea market in Mexico for less $$.

I was a little disappointed that the hot pink color was more coral pink than pink, pink. I'm not a coral pink fan but since I'm using it on the porch I decided not to send it back. Also it isn't very thick actually it's thin, I have a couple others that are thicker, heavier, and thought this one would be similar. I should have known by the price. Hoping for it to fade to a nice color.

Another impulse buy. Thought I'd be cool and use it as a park blanket for picnic dates. Forgot a meaningful relationship wasn't included
