Trimax 5-1/2" X 1/2" Dia. Watercraft Bow Locking Pin T6, Clam Packaging, Chrome

I used this for my lock-n-roll hitch on my off road trailer. Works like any other pin, but with a key. Solid construction.

I purchased this to replace 4 x 1/2 inch pin on a hitch-mounted bicycle rack. I spent a few hours scouring the internet for this kind of hitch lock, but with the length & width that I needed. Unfortunately, I could not find one that had the correct dimensions, so I purchased this one. After I confirmed that the diameter of this lock fit into my bike rack, I had the non-keyed end of the lock cut off and the bar shortened to 4 inches. After having the non-keyed end welded onto the shortened rod (causing discoloration & chrome finish destroyed), I repainted the lock with an industrial, outdoor paint. This has worked out perfectly. The lock now fits onto my bike rack perfectly and works like a charm. The key mechanism works well. When the keyed end is locked onto the bar, the end seems to move a bit, but it does not seem to want to come off without use of the key. I have not used this lock for actual bike transport yet, but from what I have seen of this and another similar lock from Trimax, I would buy it again and I recommend it to others.
