Bought one to wear for the ren faire. The material is amazing and it looks elegant. The clasps in the front were difficult to put on or undo. It runs SMALL, so keep in mind when ordering a size. I ordered a small and it was WAY too small and had to order a large.

I am 5'5" and 150lb. I measure 41/35/40 with a 34" underbust. I wear a 34E (UK).I ordered the XXL which is 39-41 Bust and 33-35 Waist.I wore it right out of the package. The lacing was exactly right for a comfortable fit on me. I was able to get the busk closed without changing the lacing at all and it still fit against my body. There's enough room at the lacing in the back that I can tighten it if I wish to.I bought this for a LARP which means I wore it continuously for a day and a half, except sleeping. And I can say that it got really uncomfortable by the end of the second day. The fit issues I had were the underbust was too high for my breasts and there's no way to adjust the that. So I was constantly pulling the corset down and trying to adjust. This might be mitigated if I were to tighten the corset more, but I worried that the boning wasn't strong enough for that and I didn't want to bend it all out of shape. I might give it a try, especially since I'll have someone who can help me at the net event.I don't think I could go up a size, it would be too loose around the body without enough slack to tighten it fully. And I don't think I could go down because my breasts would fit into it even worse.All that said, I do like it. I think it's fabulous for the price. It's a great costume piece.

I love this corset so much but it’s a good whole size smaller than you’re expecting it to be and by the time I got it there was no buying another one because the event was a couple days away. It took me easily 20 minutes to put it on, and I had to unlace a good portion of it to do so. I normally would wear a medium in something like this so it wasn’t as if I was lying to myself when picking a size. It looked lovely once it was on albeit a bit stuffy and this thing DOES get hot running around a faire or con.

For the most part this fit well the only thing I have to say is that is you are a little on the shorter side or the petite side then this might not fit perfectly for you. The clasps at the top are to long to adjust to the correct shoulder size as well as the straps that go from the top to where the fabric meets the bottom of the bust is too wide for those on the smaller size within the chest department or even just in weight in general.

Beautiful corset worth every penny

i ordered this for a renfaire costume and it was awesome!!! i had to have my boyfriend help me tie it of course, and it got the job done :) i’m bigger chested (42h) so i chose to wear a bra with mine as i wouldn’t have been comfortable if not, and it didn’t rub or hurt in any areas, and wasn’t very tight. it really accentuated my figure and felt sooooooo flattering!!! i really recommend this for anyone who is looking for an affordable option, but for costume not really for it’s intended use of a corset!

I was looking for a steel boned corset for my upcoming convention in uptown New York, and because of the outfit I was wearing I needed a corset to wear underneath my dress. All of my corsets are steel boned, except for my singular corset from Spirit Halloween. Let me just tell you- THIS IS NOT A STEEL BONED CORSET. I first noticed when I picked up the package. It was very light weight and VERY FLIMSY. I then took it out of the package to inspect. IT IS EXTREMELY FLEXIBLE, NOT WHAT YOU WANT IN A CORSET. SPIRIT HALLOWEEN CORSETS ARE BETTER THAN THIS. Save your money and go to Corset Story. Their corsets are top tier and FAR better than these, and, they’ll actually do their intended purpose, AND they are actually steel boned.

It's not as constricting as normal corsets, the "boning" is only at the front. This is a good thing, it fits snugly, I didn't even have to loosen the back before wearing it, I'm typically a size 16/18au. I don't know if it's just me but the front seems to go a tad too high and partially covers the breast so if you are looking for an underbust this won't suit your needs. comes with a g-string which I will never use(it looks more like a gimmick and does not look comfortable at all to wear, at first I thought it was an eye patch). The pho leather is of good quality and it is slightly felted on the inside for warmth. The eyelets at the front are sturdy and close easily There is NO modesty panel at the back if you need to loosen it I suggest wearing something of matching colour underneath. For what I need it for it's perfect and a great starter or basic piece for any collection.

This is so dangerous when worn with a retro style suspender belt.great for seduction and fun.
