Black Agate Bookend Pair - 3 to 6 lb - Geode Bookend with Rock Paradise Exclusive COA

I love geodes and agate and all that. And so I decided to get these Agate Book Ends to hold my recipe binders on the counter in the kitchen. I get to see them far more often in the kitchen than I would in other parts of the house. They arrived quickly, well packaged, in excellent condition and ready to work. They do fall within the described weight range of 6-9 lbs., and for that reason will function as well as they look. You can see that they've been dyed. And I suspect that if I handle them much, the dye would probably wind up on my hands. But I'm not doing that. They're just sitting there holding books up just like I wanted them to. I think they're pretty neat.

I have to admit I was worried that they wouldn't look very nice or I would get one that doesn't look as nice since it's being shipped. I was wrong they looked great. Each one weighed just under 4 pounds, about 3 lbs 15 oz. The product was packaged nicely for its protection as well.*Just noticed a small damage area in the corner of one of the rocks, I will contact seller.

The set of geode (1/4 sized cuts) that I received is beautiful, although very small. I’m using it to display a DVD set, so the small size is passable for this use. Seems to be the luck of the draw if you want to receive a larger set of the “1-3 pounds” as described to hold up books. The teal color is very attractikve.

These agate bookends are larger and heavier than expected. I use them as decor/positive energy pieces. Definitely worth the price. So very pretty and natural.

It arrived broken. It also looked nothing similar to the picture. It was pretty nonetheless. Just not what I had pictured. The coloring was very important, the color was a few shades darker than that of the picture. Since it was fixable I decided not to send it back. But overall I wasn't really happy with it.

When purchasing geodes you can get a disappointing varying of color but these look as amazing as the pictures

Nothing like scale of the picture. Drastically smaller: 3.5"x 2.5"x 1.5" Couldn't be expected to even hold up a few pocket books. Horrible! This was supposed to be a wedding gift. I would be embarrassed to give these to ANYONE. 1-star is too much.Note: My first real big disappointment with an Amazon item.

The 6-9 lb geode bookends arrived well packaged, and without any damage. They are very much similar to what is pictured, and I'd even say that they are quite lovely all over--even the back is interesting to look at. They have some solid weight, and have been able to hold up my books at work.
