The quality of the pattern, thread and instructions is excellent. I'm not a huge fan of cross stitch because I get bored; embroidery would have been better. That said, I would still recommend this as it is very good value.

The string is strong and it comes with the DMC number so you can go get more at the store if you run out. Something to keep in mind is whether your canvas is 11CT or 14CT as each require different numbers of thread strands.

First of all, this cross-stitch is truly beautiful. I am so pleased with how it looked when it was done, and all the work was worth it! When looking at reviews before purchasing this, I noticed several issues that came up in the comments, and I decided to address these based on my own experience now that I've completed the project:1) Directions hard to follow: I will agree that it took a minute or two to figure out the system with the symbols, numbers, and colors, but I wouldn't say that it was *difficult* to figure it out. For those who get stuck, I found it helpful to look at the reference sheet that they include in the packet (they show the cross-stitch design with the appropriate thread numbers in each square, so you can make sure you are interpreting the symbols correctly).2) Running out of thread: I am not a perfect cross-stitcher, (I made some mistakes, had some knots, etc.) but I found I had leftover thread for every single color. Make sure you are splitting the thread according to the directions - don't use the entire thread when starting to sew a given color!3) Having to look at YouTube videos: If you have never, ever picked up a cross-stitch or sewing project in your entire life, I might recommend briefly looking at a simple YouTube video on cross-stitching just to get a visual reference for the most basic concepts, but no extensive research should be required.This was just my experience, but really I was very pleased with this project. As another little side-note, no embroidery ring is required for this. The cloth is stiff enough for you to work without using one. I say give it a try!

Enjoyed this project. Took about 3 weeks to complete. Pattern print was aligned. Some colors were hard to discern from others - but manageable. Thread was generous and smooth. Easy to separate. Had leftover thread in every color Stamp dissolved and disappeared quickly. This is my second stamped kit I have ever completed. This brand had much better thread quality then Sunday Joy.

Review for Beautiful Flowers 2Directions were followed (3 strands) and I have experience with other printed pattern cross stitch so I feel I can comment on floss amounts and colors.Comes with 24 colors but color 18 had very little floss and actually turned out to be the exact same as color 10. Therefore, I have to figure out how to pull out a bunch of work that has already been done and purchase color 18 myself. Luckily they give DMC numbers so I can at least get the right color.Will update if any other mistakes are found.
