Black ones are in the sterile unit.
It works well, it's a sterile unit until you open it. Black studs are sterilized in the unit. Very little pain, no bleeding!

It’s blunt studs!
I wanted to pierce my 5 yo daughter’s ears with this because it mentioned “quick and painless” but the studs are blunt and not pointed so I feel like there would be some pain there for sure. Try it on an adult before a child first to get the feel lol.

One bummed bday boy
The first kit broke as soon as i went to line it up with the marking. The plastic that the earring is half in split in half. The 2nd kit was already broke upon opening maybe it got cracked in the mail not sure
