Animus (Sleeping Dragons) Paperback – January 23, 2014

I enjoyed this story! It's very forward with the sequel aspects, but I found it refreshing. It was short, but there were enough elements of a decent plot for it to work, as well as interesting characters. I recommend it!

Found this book on fb scrolling and it caught my attention. The story was good and had very nice spice only down side… I sneezed and it was over . Only 10 chapters but is a series so can’t go wrong .

I wish the story was longer. It was very fast paced and finished within an hour. The story had a great story line and I wish it had more action and romance than just slowly peaking to the end. To me it had a low level of spice and was more so just focused on every character being aroused. Would I read it again? Probably not. It’s great for a quick bypass to just kill time but not worth rereading.

I’ve always been interested in reading details and I have read this entire story in 4 hopes. I had been seeing the hot scene written in ads on Facebook and TikTok and had to hunt down the correct story and it was definitely worth the hunt

Down and dirty, but with surprisingly good character development. Quick and easy read.And who doesn’t love kinky dragons??!I recommend ;-)

What a pleasant surprise! I've been in a paranormal/shifter slump for a bit and this has brought my interest back. Not only was this super charged erotic but it has a really interesting story to back it up. Which I think is very difficult to do in only 37 pages. Another thing that’s difficult to do, is leave the short story with a HFN and you’re ok waiting until the next installment comes out. BravoOphelia Bell! Bravo!This is a short story about Erika and her team of archaeologists, looking for a legend Dragon temple. Once the temple is discovered, Erika and her team open the doors to find dragon statues and artifacts. While trying to figure out the mystery of the Dragon temple and statues, they are surrounded by magic that keeps them in an aroused state of mind and body.I really liked this story. I thought the author told a fantastic story in a short amount of time. I thought the storyline was well thought out and unique, the characters are interesting and the sex is phenomenal! Statues, Dragons and Magic, HECK YA!! I will warn some of you that may have issues with a dragon shifter, in dragon form having sex with a human. I thought that was really awesome and I want MORE OF THAT!!! Also one of the characters is bisexual but does not go into detail which I thought was a little disappointing. The only thing that could have made the last sex scene better was if the male dragon was taking on both the male and female humans. SWEET JEZZ-US! OMG! Im about to slide outta my seat just thinking about it. Bring on the dragon orgies!My only complaint is that it’s too short and it would be nice if all the stories were sold together in one set/novel. With that being said there is no cliffhanger but does leave some questions unanswered and the reader wanting more.Overall, I loved it. Like I said before, the story is well told in a short amount of time, the characters are interesting and I cant wait to learn more about each of them (especially Kris). The sex is super erotic and does the job in the arousal territory. I have just one last thing to say… Ophelia Bell, you have a new fan!!

To have waited for 500 years to find your fated mate is a little long for humans but not dragons. Anticipation and intense desire all make this a very quick but satisfying read to get us started on our journey through Sleeping Dragons.

Geva description was attractive. But the story had a hit and miss for me feeling like a cheap fanfic. The building of the story was lack luster for me. Others might like it but I've read better.It's just mid grade would I come back to read it no.

This is the first book I read of Ophelia Bell . I love it then and I love it now. I could not wait for the next book for this series. One I started reading there was no way I could stop. I ended reading all night and I can remember everything that happens. A lot of it is pretty HOT and it just gets warmer and steaming. A must read! I recieved this arc and volunteered to review it.

Bit of a different story to what you generally read in relation to dragons. This was a more sexual encounter. Ophelia still writes a good story. So it will be interesting to see what happens with the rest of the stories to follow.

Ich lese fast alles was mir an Paranormal/Shifter-Romance über den Weg läuft. Da war schon so manches Buch dabei, bei dem ich den Kopf geschüttelt oder aufgegeben habe, um meine Nerven zu schonen. Dieses Buch toppt aber alles. Auf Grund der wenigen Seiten habe ich es tatsächlich bis zum Ende gelesen und das Kopfschütteln hörte währenddessen nicht auf.Zusammengefasst blieb bei mir das Folgende von der Story hängen:Eine Gruppe Wissenschaftler auf der Suche nach Drachen. In der Drachenhöhle angekommen sind alle plötzlich scharf auf Sex. (Drachen sollen halt sehr sexuelle Geschöpfe gewesen sein.) Naja, vom mir aus. Als es dann aber zu Sex mit Statuen kommt... ich konnte nur noch lachen.

The storyline gets quickly to the point, so if you don’t like long back stories this book will work great.
