At 40 years old…you’d think I’d learn how to use a curling iron. But…no. I’ve tried, I’ve failed, I gave up at about 30. I have long, very thick, pretty coarse, and wavy/frizzy hair. I’ve always blown it out and touched with a flat iron because any other way I tried made me look like I stuck my finger in a light socket. Yet… this (somewhat inappropriate looking) hair tool came along, and I thought… meh. One more thing to try. Being a gluten for punishment, I like to try (and fail) with everything after all. Overnight rag curls, those silly foam roller things…been there, failed that.BUT THIS WORKS WONDERS!!!!! Couple of tips:1. Watch multiple tutorials!2. Use a boat brush to brush through each piece before ya put your hair in.3. I used 3rd setting, waited for first beep, began to slowly pull out (giggity), and then gave a quick spin to pull out the rest of the way.4. Be patient and let them cool5. One cool, I use a very wide comb to give a softer look… but don’t over brush.I don’t know if it will work for you. But, I’m incompetent with a curling iron and the dexterity to turn the right way. This curls the right way with a button.If I can do it… I’m positive you can.It does make your hair look thicker… but for us thick girl hairs, it doesn’t look as wild as most other methods.This picture was my first try! Hoping to improve and get a bit less frizzy results. But, BY FAR the best results I’ve had from ANYTHING. And I’ve tried just about everything that’s come out in last decade. Hence the reason I’m writing the longest review of my life. LolHope you have the same results!!!!

I have enjoyed the original model of this curling iron and thought I’d give this upgrade a shot. In some ways I like it better. It plugs in so they solved the battery issues the original model had. It’s also much less complicated with just a few settings to control through easy buttons. And your hair curls easily and beautifully. All pros. The cons are that it smells very strange and chemically while it’s heating up, and, due to the strange shape of the curler, there’s now no easy way to set it down on a sink or counter. It also takes a long time to cool down, and since there’s no way to set it down, I’ve had to get very creative with hanging it places so it can cool down safely. If they installed some sort of stand on the side that would easily fix these problems.

I only used it twice and it was completely ruined.

So the curls that this product produces are wonderful. I have very thick hair and it’s the best hair curler and stress free hands down. But it did not come with 4 temperature settings like advertised it only came with 3. Also, the device automatically kicks off regardless so it doesn’t “sense” if your hair is fully wrapped in the barrel. The timer never came on either so that’s kinda concerning. I’ve tried turning it off and on and using different temperatures but the timer never sounds off for the 8s,12s, or 16s intervals so I just have to count myself and then release the curl. Not a bad product but I appreciate it when the description is accurate though.

I especially liked the cone shape it made it very easy to see where you put your hair into. You can’t rush when using this because you really need to use small sections of hair. Each curl will be perfect if you follow the directions it’s very easy to use there us nothing complicated about using this hair tool it’s lightweight and I didn’t think the price was bad considering the results. You won’t be disappointed!

This is the best electric hair curler! I have several curling wands and curling irons but this is by far the best and so easy to use! Love it! My hairdresser was so impressed and I told her my new electric curler did all the work, all I did was position the curler and the hair and pressed the button! Just like that I was salon ready at home.

The button already popped off, received for Christmas 2022.
