Women's V Neck Wrap Long Sleeve Elegant Mermaid Velvet Cocktail Maxi Dress Evening Party

I'm 5'4 180 pounds on a bad day and a 36 C up top. I normally wear a size 12 to 14 in jeans and a large or extra large top. I'm a dress size 12 or 14. I bought this dress for a fundraiser event and I'm in love! The rouching? I don't think I'm spelling that right but you get the idea, hides the belly I have earned through too many doughnuts. I will still wear some slimmer shorts but I feel elegant, comfortable, and warm in the dress. I plan in wearing a pair of comfortable black flats and gold and emerald jewelry. This will be worn over and over again for events. You could add a broach or a belt and totally change the look.

The fabric is thick and soft, it seemed well made for the price. It didn’t fit me (too large). I’m 5’3 and 110lb and it came to my ankle. It was a bit loose everywhere, especially the waist. If they had a size xs that probably would have fit me better. I would say the size chart is accurate, I knew when I ordered it that it may not fit, which is too bad because I really liked it.

Purchased size Medium. fits my bust well ( 34 H) but is very loose through waist and hips. Shall alter it for good fit.

Wore this for my elopement which took place on the pacific northwest coast in late November. I wanted something blue, pretty, and would keep me warm! The color is a dark midnight blue as pictured. The fit was perfect, it’s a stretchy and scrunchy fabric so there’s lots of forgiveness! I am a small or xs in most clothes—5 ft 3 in, 115 lbs but with long arms—the sleeve length was a little short on my wrists and did not extend into my hands. Length of the skirt came to mid calf as pictured. I wore “pirate boots” with it and was able to hid heavy black leggings underneath to keep my legs warm. The material is polyester so it is warm and not sheer. I don’t have much of a bust (A or n/a!) so sometimes v-necks make me look even more flat chested but not the case with this dress—it was very feminine. The front is a scrunch so it hides any belly so the dress looks very slimming. Great price. Though I got it for my elopement, I can easily wear this to a dress-nice party. It is hard to get into though, you have to pay attention to where your arms need to go or you’ll wind up tangled and have to start again, LOL.

The material was nice and thick. Length is perfect. I probably could have sized down but it still looked great!
