Pawdle Travel Pet Carrier Domestic Airline Approved (Small, Black)

I have a Miniature Schnauzer puppy who is 14lbs. I thought the medium sized bag would work as I use it everyday to carrier her into my work since I work on the second story. It was smaller than anticipated but she fit! Only negative is that when I would attempt to pick the bag up, the whole thing would tip to its side and the puppy was NOT having it. I bought this one to replace another carrier that the straps broke.PROS:The bag is very cute! I was contemplating just keeping it as a bag lol!Attention to detail- the stitching is very nice.The carrier strap hooks are metal and the loops that connect it are too. Great quality.The strap that you would use to connect it to your luggage looked very well made. I would trust it for that use.CONS:Since it is a very narrow carrier, it is prone to tipping over.The bottom needs more reinforcement and so do the sides. So the dog is a little more protected.Cage had a strong odor of plastic. My puppy was not having that as well. 2 days of airing out, it still hasnt gone away.In short, if you have a TINY dog or puppy, this bag would be very nice.

The carrier is too small for all of my cats except the one who weighs approx 9lbs. All 5 of my other cats weigh betw 11 & 15lbs.Another issue is the smell. The carrier has an extremely strong chemical odor which is very slow to subside.I also wish the top had a flap and a zipper to lower cats in from the top.On the plus side I love the pad insert & the amount of mesh for the cat to see outside. It is comfortable to carry. And it is nice looking.

Like most cats, mine hates traveling. She lets out that hollow "MOOOWW" of distress every few seconds and breaks her nails clawing at the metal door of her old carrier. We just moved and she was transported in this new carrier I got for her. She did SO much better in this one. There were a few meows, but not as frequent or as hollow and haunting as her meows before. She laid on the padded insert instead of thrashing around. I think she felt more comfortable in the fabric carrier, being more enclosed, almost mimicking the bedsheets that's she's used to crawling through versus the hard casing of the old carrier. I also LOVE the fact that it collapses for easy storage.

This is a great carrier. It did have that "brand new" sort of smell but that seems to have disappeared in the last few days. It arrived on time and was big enough for me to transport my two small kittens home from the shelter in (!!).The two of them won't fit in it together for long though, so I know I'll have to buy another. They seemed comfortable in it and I liked that there were many mesh windows that they were able to see out of. The comfy liner that sits on the bottom of the bag is nice, too. I do wish there was a bigger overall size as I can see it getting a little snug if either of them get much bigger. I should add that this is the first cloth carrier I have purchased and the first cat carrier I've owned in 10 years. Take from that what you will! I still like it a lot.

I purchased 4 different carriers trying to find the best one for air travel on a very small plane with my 7 lb. cat. This carrier was the definite winner of the ones I ordered as far as quality. Construction is solid and it has a nicely padded insert. It also opens from both ends too which I really like. I haven't taken the trip yet so I can't review on the usage yet. Shipping was fast.

Our family happily adopted a 4 month old Japanese Chin. She was traveling to us from upstate NY. About a 90 minute flight. This bag was recommended to us for comfort and it was perfect. Though its soft its sturdy. In fact our new puppy didn't want to leave it. She was comfortably sleeping in it. I encourage animal lovers to get this carrier for the comfort and safety of their pets.

This bag is perfection! It's good quality and I love that the bag is easily foldable and can be folded into a compact size. The meshing all around it allows my pup to see what's going on at all times. It even has sturdy buckles and a sleeve for hooking the bag to luggage. My dog loved it right away. The bedding is soft and comfortable. Removable too, so it can be washed. My 6 lb. Yorkie has enough space to turn completely around in it too.

My cats are terrified of these carriers. They're very unstable, tipping over every time the cat moves. The bottom isn't sturdy, either, as the weight of my 8 pound cat makes it bow. My 12 pound cat is even more unhappy with the bowing. If I hadn't already tossed the packaging, I'd have returned them. Having purchased two of these, that's a lot of money to throw away.
