Wish it were lighter
Using this LESCOLTON Hair Growth System is a 3-6 month process. I have only been using it regularly for about two weeks but I am committed to see this through. Due to hormonal issues I have had problems with hair loss and I hope this is the solution for me. Even though I can’t speak as to the results just yet I can tell you that the device is easy to use and only takes 40 to 60 minutes of wearing per week. The red light makes my scalp a little warm sometimes but it’s not hot. Most of the time I don’t even notice the sensation of heat at all. My biggest problem with the device is I find it heavy and uncomfortable. I take ibuprofen beforehand because otherwise it aggravates my neck and shoulders and triggers a migraine. It will be worth it if I see new hair growth. I will update this review if I see results. The other issue is the price. A lot of people wouldn’t be able to risk $550 on a product that may or may not give them results. It’s a bit of a gamble but like I said if it does regrow hair it’s definitely worth it to many people.

Stopped working
It stopped working in less than 6 months. I could not get a hold of anyone to get a refund. So money wasted. They contacted me and they did not do anything about it and it was less than 6 months that it broke on its own

Really regrows hair - but be patient
Red light therapy really works. It's one of the only FDA approved treatments there is for hair loss - and there have been dozens of clinical trials and published research to support it's efficacy. So now you know it works - the next step is to decide on a helmet. In my opinion, the biggest benefit of red light therapy is that it really slows or even stops hair loss. It reduces scalp inflammation and circulation - which essentially brings dying hair follicles back to life. In terms of regrowth on your hairline, that's a much slower process. But you can absolutely expect thickening and stuff like crown regrowth. This particular helmet is really great for the price. 1They are a major hair growth helmet company, and FDA cleared - so you can be sure that the laser strength and dosage (treatment time) will be adequate. This helmet has 80 lasers, which is plenty. You don't need 200+ lasers to get results, and more lasers aren't necessarily more effective. It comes with a rechargeable power-bank / controller, so you can move around while you use your device. It's a bit bulky, so you won't be moving much most likely, but it's so much more convenient than devices that require you to stay plugged in. I get about 4-5 treatments per full charge, so I only have to charge it once every 10 days or so.This is actually my 2nd red light therapy helmet - I used the older model Lescolton helmet for over a year (it works great but isn't wireless) and just upgraded to their 2nd generation model around a month ago. Mine required a small amount of assembly (I had to snap in the bands that let you tighten/loosen it - you just have to push really hard, they won't break). My first use I found it a bit uncomfortable, but after that I got used to it and barely notice when it's on.Hair Regrowth Notes:1) Red light therapy takes 6 months to a year of consistent use to show real benefits. Be patient, if nothing else, it is reducing your hairloss.2) Follow the instructions. Using it more than every other day won't speed up your results and can actually make the treatment less effective.3) Add microneedling. I had nice results with my helmet alone, and it definitely thickened my hair, but made very little difference to my hairline. Once I added microneedling (1.5mm with dermapen), once every two weeks - my hairline is actually regrowing. It's amazing really.4) Combine minoxidil with microneedling and laser helmet, and you can expect to see some seriously impressive results. If you combine all of the above with something like fin, then expect to look like beast man in a year's time.Note 2: My picture is showing hairline regrowth from a combination of microneedling and LesColton laser helmet. That's a year of laser helmet use, but only around 2 months of microneedling. Microneedling is really effective and definitely worth adding in to your hair regrowth routine.Overall - this helmet is excellent. It doesn't have the most lasers or LEDs on the market - but it's good quality and definitely can be effective if you stick with it. For the price, it's a great choice.

Power/ data plug is not working. No way to try the product.
Just returned the product to Amazon, with the postage cost of about USD80. Hope Amazon can fully refund the product price and postage cost. Thanks.

Easy to use
It looks a lot like a bike helmet at first and it's really easy to use and adjust. After menopause I noticed my hair was thinning. I'd also had thyroid cancer and the combination seemed to have affected my hair the most. While I'm not bald and don't have any patches, I've noticed that the front hairline is thinner and the overall weight of my hair has gotten lighter.I've been using this for just over a week so I can't say for sure if it's working yet. I'd rather give it more time, but I can tell you it's easy to use, I've had no problems using it and I haven't had any problems with my scalp. I've never sunburned easily and don't have any issues being exposed to sunlight, despite taking synthroid. I don't suntan anymore, but that's because I worked for a dermatologist and saw too many people with skin cancer. It doesn't feel hot when I use it. I haven't found any marks on my scalp. The instructions say you can increase usage after a time if there aren't any bad effects.I would assume if you've ever had a reaction to a laser before, this would be something to avoid. For me, I'm keeping hope that maybe I can get some of thicker hair back again.

Definitely an interesting product, it looks like a bicycle helmet
This is definitely an interesting product, it looks like a bicycle helmet, it's easy to use, fits to my head pretty well since it's adjustable, but don't like the weight of it, for me it feels too heavy on my head causing pressure on my neck and made my neck a little sore, my scalp felt fine during use,no irritation, the little rubber pieces on the inside of the helmet did take a couple of strands of my hair when removing it, so far I haven't really noticed an improvement in my hair growth, but I also haven't used it as regularly as it states to use it,so I will continue to use it to see if eventually there is improvement.
