Does the job
Was installing a new fan in an outdoor gazebo with a very high ceiling. This rod brought the fan down to a proper height. Fit the rod that came with the Hunter fan perfectly.

Great product and value for the cost.
The down rod worked great for our ceiling fan. Even with the 72" length there is no wobble with the fan on high speed.

Does it's job
Trying to install a fan with a 6 foot down rod can be cumbersome but it works well and matches the color of the fan I purchased without fail. Hunter doesn't sell downrods in all of the colors they produce fans in but if you go to their website they tell you what color of downrod you should use.

Holding up my giant fan!
I was a little suspicious that this rod would hold up a giant fan like this but it seems to work fine. I got an amazon warehouse version that was cheaper than retail because it was blemished. On my high ceiling you can't even see any imperfections so that worked out great. Even at discount it was a little pricey, I wish there was a generic option instead of a branded one because if you had to buy this new you're considerably increasing the cost of your fan.One thing to note, the fan only comes with 60" of wire so if you're installing a 72" downrod you'll need to extend the wiring some. I used wire nuts and the leftover wire from the old fan I replaced. The nuts and wire fit into the downrod fine.

Professionally installed
The media could not be loaded. It does what it’s supposed to do. It gave me the exact length that I was looking for and matches the color of my ceiling fan perfectly.

Downrod didn't bring me down...
I love Amazon they always seem to come thru. I needed this 72" down-rod for a job I was doing for a customer with 20' ceilings and it needed to be here in a big hurry, well Amazon had it in stock unlike the big box stores (Orange and White/Blue) in my neighborhood! It arrived well packaged and with a tight plastic wrap on it to protect the bronze finish and the fit was perfect.Keep up the good work Amazon and Hunter Fan Company without the two of you my business would have faltered.

Works great
A must have if you are using a fan in a room with a cathedral ceiling. This worked perfectly with my Hunter fan allowing the fan to move air at a more beneficial level without any wobble or loss of opeating features.
