There is a lot of good things about this protein!1. The flavor is very good! The chocolate tastes just like cocoa, in my opinion.2. The quality of the protein is pretty good - however, despite using a shaker cup it still can still have clumpy bits. (But it's not that bad)3. You get a pretty good amount of powder for what you are paying for! I use to pay around $40 for the same amount.On the other hand, I am still tracking how good this as a fat burner/lean muscle. So far, at my first week with using this, I have dropped 1 1/2 pounds (sided with exercise and a good eating habit). However, this could be just a water weight influx. I will update this as time progresses as I use this product.

When I went to open my protein powder there was a plastic seal on the black cap which is normal but after removing the black cap there was no white protective seal like there normally is with bottles of protein powder. I have ordered many bottles of Syntha protein and they always come with a protective white seal which I remember because I am always struggling to take it off completely. I have not tried the protein I am unsure if it is safe to consume, I am wondering if it is a knock off.

This review is going to seem weird, but I’m just being honest.This stuff tastes like total Hell. It’s almost like sour milk, plastic, and chemicals. BUT.....IT IS AWESOME and has helped me tremendously. Until I found this shake, I was having a very hard time meeting my protein goal without throwing my carb and fat goals out of balance. My workouts, workout recovery and energy have been so much better since I started using this powder.Despite the funky taste, (I’ve added a little bit of salt to it and that makes it a little better.) I’m going to buy this again!

02/12/21: I ordered the Chocolate and it arrived today, on time. The container was sealed on the outside with the plastic wrapped completely around it with no tears. When I unscrewed and lifted the black cap, the inner white seal came off with it... So, this has happened to me in the past with other products, no big deal!First things first: before mixing it with other things... I added 1 scoop with 6oz unsweetened almond milk in my blender bottle. Waited a minute and re-shook. The taste isn’t bad, no stomach issues like with some protein powders. It mixes well enough for me.Taste: It’s not an excellent or the best tasting stuff, but it tastes way better then others I’ve had in the past. Everyone’s taste buds are different anyways. I hate broccoli, others love the stuff. There you go... this is a food supplement/meal replacement item to help with weight loss. I can mix and match it with other things to keep it interesting. I’m pleased with the product itself and will continue to use it and update later.So many possibilities for the Chocolate!!!Add 1/2 tsp (or more) of instant coffee for a coffee mocha shake.In a blender: 4-6 oz of liquid, 1 scoop if powder, ice, a squeeze of sugar free chocolate syrup & 1/2 tsp instant coffee. Mix until you’re happy. After mixing, add a dollop of whipped cream on top for a Iced Mocha (like McDs frozen Mocha)Also I’ve added 1/2 TBSP of PB powder to make a peanut butter cup shake.For a double chocolate shake add 1 TBSP of sugar free chocolate syrup and a small scoop of Bryers Carb Smart Ice Cream.

I have been using BSN Chocolate Protein powder for 2 plus years and have bought this item 6+ times, the most important factor I loved about this powder was that it tastes good and the shakes always never made me feel its a protein powder shake like the other brands.Unfortunately the last time I bought it, I used it for once and the second time I found something shining inside the bottle, when i grabbed it slowly and held it tight under water, after washing off the powder I found it was a sharp plastic piece. I was shocked seeing this, later when I searched for more in the bottle, I found more tiny minute particles that are shining and surely wasn't dissolving in water.I reached out to BSN, their team quickly responded and even retrieved the plastic piece from me. But whatever it is, I am not going to use this anymore, every human being unknowingly consume 1000s of plastic micro particles everyday due to pollution, I just cannot do it knowingly and if I hadn't noticed I would have just scooped the powder into my blender like any other day. Hope this doesn't happen to anybody else.
