Monteverde Ballpoint Refill to Fit Parker Ballpoint Pens, Medium Point, Soft Roll, Red, 2 per Pack (P132RD)

I specifically looked for Monteverde ballpoint inks because i know they are high quality, water proof, and gorgeous colors. Losing important notes to a coffee spill gave me a reason to two finger salute-send off ever using gel inks again.This is my first time using this make of refill. Their d1 style refills were what turned me on to the Monteverde brand in the first place.This order came bagged. As with all Monteverde refills, the tips were sealed with soft wax. I'm still on the first refill and it is occasionally a little juicy to start, minor excess of ink easily taken care of with a quick wipe on a paper napkin. If i were less finicky about my pens, i ptobably wouldn't even notice it.I'll update this review when i have a page count for how long it takes me to get thru a cartridge.

My 1980s Purple Parker Frontier ChromoFlair has craved purple ink for years. When these were on sale for about a buck a refill I finally jumped at the opportunity. These refills are my first Monteverde purchase, I'm pleasantly surprised at how smoothly the ink flows/writes. The purple ink is neither garish or freaky; it's classy with a twist.These refills have performed so well, I've ordered 2 Lilac Parker Jotters to share the purple ink-joy in the kitchen and home office locations in the house. This extra girly touch ensures the fellows won't be walking away with them!FYI Parker pens are dependable, well made and will last nearly forever. Chances are you'll lose it before it breaks.

The first one in the package worked for about 5 or 6 minutes of use just fine, then it started skipping. Within a few more minutes of trying to make it worked, it was writting less than 1/2 the time. It only got worse the more I tried. Same thing with the second one in the package -- so 2 for 2, they were not good. Strike 1 & 2.I contacted the company and NO response to their Customer Service form on their website OR from the email addresses on their website. Strike 3.I then contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement. I thought these would be from a different batch. Sure enough, the first one I tried quit writing within a minute. Strike 4.I tried leaving the pen upright over night, shaking the pen with the ball down and writing on many different surfaces without any luck.Obviously, I am not impressed and I would suggest buying another brand. I was also not happy to see the package have the label USA on the front and "Packaged in the USA" on the back to then find out they were made in China.

I love being able to buy these refills in colors other than black and blue. Makes writing with a quality pen more fun

Have you ever bought something and used it and then wished you had bought at least 10 more? Now I have had that experience. I like using brown ink and I have brown ink in all my fountain pens. However, I had never found a brown ink ballpoint refill that was consistently good -- now that is no longer true. Monteverde soft roll for Parker refills is almost absolutely perfect. The only minor complaint I have is that it only comes in fine or medium points and I like a broad point. Such is life. Excellent product!

Love the color, but these are the most unreliable refills I've used. Suddenly wet or dry, writes fine for a day then won't for days, but then will again. Just can't count on it.

I really like how these refills right, smooth and easy, however I have had two of the three that I got stop working after I dropped the pen. It seems that the ball tip is extremely sensitive and now both refills that were less than a few weeks old will not write well anymore.

I used parker pens so much in the past. I have migrated to gel pens and like them but came across two of my parker pens recently and decided to put them back to work. I could not find refills for them locally. I live in a rural area. There are few place to shop. I am so glad that Amazon carries these.The inks glides easily on the page and I love the color. It didn't seem to last as long as what I remember parker refills lasting but otherwise, I am happy with these and will order again.
