Q: My husband is a 40" waist. What's his trunk size?

My son is a size 32 and we purchased a medium. They do run very short. Hope this helps.

Q: are these okay to use in a pool or is it bad for the pool?

My husband wore them in the pool, they took about 5-10 minutes to come apart. The material doesn’t dissolve, whatever holds them together at the seam dissolves. He didn’t know they were dissolving swim trunks.. lol

No, it looks like a normal swimming trunks package without any special hints.
