Much better
I have read this series already, but thought I'd try the audio version so I could use an ear bud and get some things done around the house. I usually dislike audiobooks but the dramatized versions are MUCH better! Highly recommend

Loved it
Ok, this is my favorite series so I loved when this came out. My only issues was the love scenes... totally unbelievable... Now before you all jump on me, I wasn't expecting porn sounds but the grunting was off putting... the rest... marvelous.

Liked the graphic audio version
I forgot how much world building is in this first half so it is a little slow at times. However I liked this version with all the different voices and the background noise (well...most of them.) The graphic audio version definitely gave it more of a movie feel and was great for someone who wasn't familiar with ACOTAR and all the different characters.

I can understand the hype…
I finally did it. I dove into the series with the first book and decided to go with the dramatized audiobook version. Although I did try out both versions and decided I preferred this duet style multi-cast option the best. This version is definitely more like a movie with lots of narrators, music, sound effects, etc. that bring the story to life. My only criticism with this version is that I noticed when following along with the book at times, there were some skipped lines and a bit of slight re-wording here and there. But otherwise it was great and I will stick with this style for the rest of the series.Feyre is a nineteen year old huntress doing her best to provide for her family after they've fallen on hard times. She kills a wolf in the woods that turns out to be a faerie. As a result she is taken from her home and into the land of the Fae.She has been raised with hostility toward the Fae. The longer she's there the more she realizes that something is not quite right with their world. She faces danger after danger. She tries to discover more about this new world she finds herself in. And her feelings towards Tamlin starts to change and evolve over time. When it comes down to it, she has decisions to make that will effect not just her but her family, Tamlin, and all the Fae in his court. She is forced to face challenges that puts all her ideals and skills to the test. This book was great and I can see what all the hype is about. It had a bit of a slower start for me but ended up sucking me in more than I even expected. I can't wait to see where the series goes.

Yes
Okay! I officially get the hype surrounding these books. I've tried to read them but had difficulty getting into them for some reason. However, the dramatized audio got me. This story is actually really compelling. I like Feyre a lot. She's strong and stands her ground. She's grown a good amount in the first part of this book already. Tamlin is interesting. I wasn't sure about him at first but now I love him. You can tell he tries to be better than his father. I can't wait for the second half of the book!

Obsessed
DRAMATIZED ADAPTATION IS THE WAY TO GO. This made listening so much fun. I feel like a lot of people said this first book was boring but I liked it! Had a lot of story building. Tamlin and Feyre!!!! Under the mountain had me so stressed out, but my girl did it!! So glad Tamlin and Feyre got to be together again. Interested to see how this plot line with Rhysand plays out though
