Amazing keyboard that's also very silent
I love this purchase, truly an amazing keyboard. Silent, and keys are really soft and nice to type on.I usually game till quite late, and this keyboard is just perfect. So quiet as to not disturb anyone at night (since I already have a silent click mouse).Keyboard is sturdy and quite heavy, so it won't slip on the desk. The ability to control the lighting effect + colour is a big bonus.

Quiet mechanical keyboard
This keyboard is quiet enough, not silent, has the right feel for me, and a price that reflects its overall quality. I have keyboards that are more silent and cheaper, but lacking the feel and adjustability of lighting.. This keyboard has numerous led lights that can be adjusted beyond simple on/off options on cheaper keyboards. I highly recommend this keyboard.

Literally the quietest keyboard i've ever owned
This is a great keyboard. It is VERY quiet, probably more quiet than even most typical membrane/scissor switch keyboards. There is no tactile feedback when you type but it still feels good to type on this. The one con is that the spacebar is obnoxiously way louder than any other key. If it wasn't for the spacebar, this would be 5 stars for sure. I suppose you could add some foam or tape or something underneath the spacebar to help dampen its sound further.

Wow- Great retro design with current value add features!
Wowzer!!!!!!!!!!!!I I give this 5 stars. Retro design ( which I love) and back lit so you can make it dim, bright - and change RGB colors - change key colors or just back lit - flashy or what ever you want it to be ( even dark). The instructions leave a lot to be desired.. but the product is so awesome I still gave it 5 stars. Google how to change the key board colors is way better than using the instruction sheet. ENJOY!! I luv it.

Quiet but clicky and responsive: everything I want in a keyboard
Having used cheaper, noisier mechanical keyboards, this is truly a breath of fresh air. It’s quiet (I really type hard) to a point it almost comes off like a membrane keyboard (in a good way). The keys are still clicky having sufficient travel for that mechanical KB feel. I type pretty fast when I code and keys are responsive while feeling sturdy enough. The CapsLock color change when “capitalized” is a nice touch. Will update in a year if I face any issues, if you see nothing then I’m probably still very happy with the keyboard 😁

Disappointed
I live in Thailand, where it's impossible to find an English language-only keyboard. So I was forced to order a keyboard from the U.S., sight-unseen. The Cherry seemed to have all the features that are important to me -- namely a responsive keyboard and backlighting -- the price with international shipping was very good, and although I'd never heard of Cherry keyboards before, they seemed to have a good reputation. Now it's not a BAD keyboard, and the more I use it, the more I get used to it. But there are certainly 2 things that disappoint to the extent that if I could return it, I would. First, it sits very high off the desk surface. The bottom-most row of keys is over an inch above the desk. The rear function keys are 1-3/4 inches above the desk. This puts one's wrists at an extreme angle. I worry about the effect that will have on my wrists during times when I'm writing on the keyboard for hours on end.The second problem is the backlighting. I didn't even look at keyboards that lacked this feature. I don't care about all the colors. I just want simple white backlighting. But the way the lights are situated behind the keys on the Cherry keyboard, they only illuminate the upper half of each key. For the alphabet keys (A-Z), that's fine, because the letters are located on the top half of the key. For the symbol keys, you can't see whatever symbol is on the bottom half of the key, like the period (.) and (,). Even worse, the number keys show the numbers on the bottom half of the key, and that area isn't illuminated. It's hard for me to believe that such a major design flaw wasn't found during product development. And this isn't a newly released keyboard. It's been around for years. So there's been ample opportunity for Cherry to fix the design failure.Because of my situation being in Thailand. I'll keep the keyboard. But if I lived in the US and could easily return it, I would. At a minimum, a backlit keyboard should light up all the alphanumeric symbols on the keyboard.

Wonderful Keyboard
I bought this keyboard because I wanted something more quiet but still useful for both work and gaming. This is the perfect keyboard! It is simplistic yet beautiful, and the size is not too small and not too big. It feels nice on my fingers (matte feeling). Lastly, I love the backlight. Really good keyboard for a great price. I'd definitely purchase again.

Going from blue switches to silent red
I'm a big gamer and I like my cherry blue switches keyboard. My roommate does not share the same opinion, more so during my late night sessions. So I looked up to try a cherry red silent switches KB and use it as a backup. My main keyboard is a Redragon K555 (cheap, reliable, no app needed, blue clicky clicky) . So here my takeaways:- Keys feel a bit mushy but kind of expected when going from clicky to linear- I can sometimes hear a faint metal noise/feedback on some keys when typing at normal speed- Smashing keys (spacebar spam for example) is still decently loud- The Cherry Utility and Cherry Keys Apps could not detect the keyboard even though I'm writing the review with it (and I highly doubt its an user problem in this case)- The keyboard has basic RGB settings available without the apps- Fairly light weight- The cable length is acceptable but a bit longer wouldn't have hurtThe product is a bit overpriced in my eyes and I feel I could have hit my goal (less noisy KB) with a standard cherry red/black KB at better price values.
