Very nice addition to my living room!
I really like this TV stand for the extra storage space. All my Wii stuff fits in the drawers nicely and I even put all my cookbooks in the left side shelves! The finish is very pretty, but may scratch easy, so be careful when assembling. There are a ton of pieces, but if your like me & like puzzles just take your time and you will have a beautiful piece when done. Definitely takes two people, it is Very heavy! I used a black permanent marker to touch up any scratches, blended right in with the dark rich cherry finish. I also used the marker on all those edges that don't quite match up and wow, looks like it came off the show room floor! It sits up higher than my other stand and that is much better, keeps the little ones off the LCD screen, gotta love 'em! My husband was very impressed with it but said he would pay someone to put it together! Took me about six hours to finish using a cordless screw driver with a few readjustments here & there. If your willing to put in the time you'll save a lot of money which I don't have...

A BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF FURNITURE. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
I purchased this Sauder High Boy for my new 43" Sony HD TV. I am super pleased with the quality of this high boy. It looks way more expensive than $200 and the drawers glide easily. While the 3 knobs that came with the high boy were nice I found the silver color a distraction when I was watching the TV so I replaced them with identical black knobs I purchased at Menards. The screws on the Menards knobs were too long so I used the screws that came with the silver knobs. My handyman assembled the high boy. It took him about 30 minutes. All the parts were in the box so the assembly went well. I purchased safety straps on Amazon so the TV can''t tip over. The black straps are hidden behind the TV. The High Boy looks great!

Perfect in my new apartment
Color works great for me. I needed a transitional tone that would be close to my rosewood dining set. That being said, the dark tone means that any minor imperfection will show particle board below. Sauder was happy to send me the touch up pen or any parts that I felt needed replacing. My shipment came with a crushed corner which left the top damaged. Sauder has wonderful customer service website. I was able to immediately place an order for a replacement top and it arrived in 2 business days (5-7 was expected).Update: The touch-up pen was black - so don't bother asking for it. However, a Minwax Red Mahogany stain marker is a perfect match. If you are a perfectionist you may be bothered that the plinths have some minor alignment issues. Also, I am not bothered nor have the patience to adjust the hinges or drawer rails until everything is perfect. I plan on watching the flat screen and not staring at the base :)It is possible to assemble this piece on your own -- but I wouldn't recommend it. However, with one minor instruction step change I managed the task. Assembly took me 5 hours. Be aware this piece requires at least 6x6 foot of open floor space to assemble.

Best ever instruction manual.
I have assembled many items for storage, TV stands, bookcases, furniture, etc. This was the FIRST time the instructions were explicitly clear. I even got a kick out of the little notes: "Some assembly and snacks required," "Remember: Righty tighty and Lefty loose," "Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day," "Zzz—almost time to celebrate! With a nap!" It took awhile to put together by myself as there are MANY pieces. They all fit together nicely though and am pleased with the final piece. I plan to use it for work related storage, not as a TV stand for the "working from home" phase of life!

Great Value, looks nice
Ordered to replace an overpowering large cabinet with doors in our bedroom. Arrived when promised in good condition. Very securely packaged, no observed damage to parts. Each part is precision made including fastener locations.I found nothing that did not align, when assembled precisely according to the directions. This is made of particle board, but a better grade than particleboard available at the lumberyard. Assembly took several hours, (I am an experienced DIY and woodworking enthusiast) When assembling, be careful to assemble in the order in the manual, and carefully select parts. Most parts were clearly marked, and all necessary hardware was in the package. This is a very heavy piece of furniture, due to the particle board construction. The package as delivered weighed well over 100 lb.and required 2 persons to handle.

Customer Support Excellent for a Good Product
Perfect height for a TV stand. Unfortunately, the top piece arrived with a dent and a crack. I called Sauder and gave them the lot number and model number and explained it was damaged. A very polite person (Brett?) at Sauder said a new top piece would be shipped in three days (it was). I had some problem adjusting the horizontal and vertical alignment of the door. It takes a fair amount of time for an old goat like me to put this together, but it looked nice when finished.

Top of stand badly dented, poor quality, lots of time to assemble - too many parts.
Very poor quality - not a single piece is wood. The problem, however, is that the item arrived with the top of the unit badly dented - twice. It took over an hour for a highly skilled handyman to assemble (nothing is pre assembled, way too many parts to deal with, including having to assemble each and every drawer). When he got to the last piece, the top, we discovered that it was severely damaged in 3 places, including a very visible corner, where one sees the fiberboard material under the thin finish. Given how much work/time and cost to disassemble, and the difficulty to getting all the prices back in the box, I decided to get a replacement. I promptly received a new item. Called the handyman again, only to find that the replacement unit also has a damaged top. I have contacted Amazon and asked that Sauder send me ONLY a new top. The item weighs over 140 lbs, which I had to put back on the box, and take to the UPS store. Given the low quality of the item (although it does look nice if one does not look at it closely), knowing what I know now, I would not have ordered it, nor can I recommend that anyone order it either. I will update the review once the issue is resolved. I sure hope I will get only the replacement part and not the entire unit.
