The missing star should be placed against Vermeer for spec’ing a unique muffler. Seller and product both seem good. Leaving this review just so others with a Vermeer running a similar muffler don’t make the same mistake I did. We tried it on both the older (non-efi) and newer efi (we would have welded our own O2 bung in if it would have fit) and can’t make it work for either.

Exactly as described, OEM muffler fit perfect. 2nd order from this company and shipping was much quicker than first order. I gave 3 stars on last order due to misleading freight times, but this time it was perfect. Will adjust last order review upto 4 stars as this 2nd order was much much better.

I hardly ever write reviews...almost never in fact. But...this time...I have to give credit where credit is due. This muffler bolted right up to my Toro Z PERFECTLY. My old one had pretty much rusted away and I was so intimidated by the condition of the nuts and bolts being so corroded that I wouldn't be able to get the old one off that I jury rigged it for 2 years to keep my tractor going. Last week, the entire inner section blew out of the old one and that was it....I was committed. Dumb me, the old one came right off...so I went shopping and found yours. Had it in 3 days and it was a piece of cake to install. Had everything I needed. So quiet now. Thank you guys so much. Customer for life. Great job!

I see questions related to the fit of this product in relation to the engine.Although I have a kohler ch25 and this exhaust does 'fit' that particular motor, it does not fit the particular lawn tractor that it needed to be installed on.I was able to make this work but, it required a lot of modifications. I spent several hours measuring, cutting, bending and welding for this to work.I've done quite a bit of research into the exhaust system for my tractor due to the fact that ordering a new muffler (from a dealer) for my simplicity tractor is $500+.The proper muffler/exhaust system isn't found by looking up your motor. It is found by the model of tractor that you own. Kohler builds the motor, the equipment manufacturer (tractor mfg) builds the exhaust for that motor. So, although this will fit your motor, chances are, it won't fit your trator (or other equipment). Keep that in mind, especially if your muffler is positioned under a tractor hood in a tight spot. This one in particular was about 1" larger in diameter, 1" shorter in length, had longer inlet pipes than the original on my tractor. It bolted up perfectly to the motor but then the hood wouldn't close. So the major modifications began.I give this a 4star because it does fit the motor that they claim it will fit, and it did save me $400+ from a dealer.Just do your research, ask the seller questions and make certain it will not only fit your motor, but also fit your tractor.

Great product for nearly half the money of everyone else. All of the gaskets, bolts, nuts, heat shield and bracket are included. It all lined up with no modification or bending. My application had a longer exhaust pipe to divert around hydraulic lines.. easily cut the one off of the old muffler and it slipped right onto the new muffler.. 2 tack welds and just like new.. could have used a muffler clamp but the welder was handy.
