To early to determine.

I put this on my rv in the driveway is morning. I assume the filter itself will be fine, they seem to all be alike. But, after about 8 hours my daughter said it was leaking. I went out and the RV was sitting in a lake. The crimp on the flexible hose pulled apart pulled apart and must have been spraying water for hours. Do not use it!

We travel in our camper a lot- about twenty weeks a year. I do not like to hook up to a water source I am unfamiliar with and not use a filter. These do a good job removing color and odor, so I am confident they do a good job on bacteria also. At their price point, I change out once a month. Do I have to? Probably not. But why wait longer? Each filter is cheaper than a Christmas ornament.

Ordered one of these for camping and the box arrived open on one end and missing the hose protector. Apparently someone in the shipping chain needed a hose protector.Did a return and received a properly sealed box. Used one of these filters last week camping and it worked as well as the filters costing twice as much! I recommend these but perhaps the items could be packaged more securely.
