A bit disappointed that a number of recipes are fr 6/8 people although some you can easily half the quantities (I hope!!) Lots of nice pictures throughout the book. Obviouly not tried any yet so unable to say whether good, bd or indifferent.I would say that if you want any european recipes think again.I did get a reduced price from when I actually ordered otherwise I might have returned the book.Its put away to pass on for someone as a gift sometime as I definately will not be putting it on my shelf.

I have all of Olia’s books and awaited this one with anticipation as I’d pre-ordered it. I’ve already cooked several recipes - the tomato, olive, caper spaghetti is a WINNER - and love the narrative and inspiration behind them all. A brilliant addition to your cookery book collection!

This latest Olia Hercules book is just perfect for everyone who loves her recipes. Gorgeous illustrations and straightforward text make it for me her best yet.. lots of tasty original tips for fabulous food. A must for all foodies.

Really amazing book with recipes for every day.

I LOVE this book. It arrived a couple of days ago and I’ve already cooked two recipes from it: Olia’s brother’s salad, which has given me a new way to cook aubergines (and have used it for courgettes too) and her meatballs - the BEST ever.It’s a beautifully readable book and I love the way she explains things. I’m a pretty good cook, but I’m learning so much from this book and it’s expanded my repertoire already. I adore the fact that she gives us those simple recipes that she uses all the time. I have a hundreds of cookbooks but I already know this is going to be used a lot.Honestly can’t recommend it enough.

I really enjoyed cooking some of these recipes from my childhood with a modern twist.Very illustrated as well and loved the personal stories and those of friends at the beginning of each category of the book.

This is one of my new favourite cookbooks. There are some very interesting recipes. The beautiful images and wonderful storytelling really transport you.

This book is simply a delight. I want to cook every single recipe - and I never say that!My meal plan is full of wonderful tasty recipes for this week and we’re having the tomato rice for supper today and the vegetable gratin tomorrow.If you love food, you need this book.
