Pieces do not stay on.
I use a felt board purchased from Amazon. These pieces continually fall off of the board.. I do love the bright colors and many weather options to choose from and Wally the dog is adorable.

We are having so much fun with this! Adorable character. Good color and variety. It doesn't stick super well, but as long as you don't knock it around, it works fine.
