Wooden Fly Fishing Net with Clear Rubber Basket - Large

Great net for a drift boat!
The hoop is perfect size. The depth of net and overall size is easily big enough to hold a 24" plus trout. I have been fishing out of a drift boat for almost 20 years (on my 4th drifter) and really like the size of this net. Handle length is really good as well. I'll use it for the next year and if I have any issues I'll add them on here, otherwise it appears to be a very well made net for the money. Is it perfect, nope, they used some wood filler to hide any imperfections in glue joints. On the other hand it cost almost 1/3 of a Brodin so I wasn't looking for perfection. My last Brodin broke. Anyway, I think it's a great net for the money.

perfect for what I needed
I am older (80) and its difficult to land fish while fishing from shore. This eliminates the need to kneel down to land fish So far I've landed several 2-4 lb trout without any problem. I simply net the fish and quickly pick it up, take the fly out and release the fish. Seems very well made - bonus is that I don't have to worry about dropping it in the water - it floats.

Incredible for the price.
Equal to nets triple the cost. Well built and great quality.

sturdy construction and size of net is outstanding
Depth of ghost netting is superior to more expensive nets. Net has a much needed handle length when fishing from bank, and price was less, compared to even shorter nets.

Buy a fishpond net instead.
Broke on first try with an 11 year old trying to net the fish. Put a damper on our Yellowstone trip.
