Great entry level paddle.
About a month into this paddle and new to the sport. I like the grip, weight and paddle overall. I have tried about five other males and models and while I can not distinguish the details like a veteran of the sport there are a few things I’d like to call out.The price is entry level appropriate. The weight being in the medium range doesn’t feel too heavy/light.The material on the surface is attractive and has been durable. The grip has a near tacky feel, which I like, and a little bit of squish to it which is good if you have a tight grip.

Perfect Pickleball paddle
I did a lot of research before deciding on this paddle. Based on the information I found, I decided that the best paddle for me would be medium weight, have small grip, have a longer handle and regular size face (not elongated).Medium weight- too light and it would take too much effort to swing to get enough power behind it. Too heavy it would not be comfortable, my hand would fatigue easier.Small grip- I am a petite women, so the small grip allows better control and it's easier to hold on to.Longer handle- allows a 2 handed back hand, much like a tennis backhand. This gives me a little more power and control by the ability to use 2 hands, especially when further from the net (at the back line).I am a petite 5'2" woman in my 50's, and this is the perfect size and weight for me.If you have the opportunity to try paddles before buying, that is the best way to decide, but not everyone has the opportunity to do that. If not do the research to find out what paddle is best for you. I have a friend who tried mine as well as 3 other paddles on the court one day, and she liked this one the best.

Good product for a good price, but ...
I am no pickleball expert, but this paddle screams beginner/smaller person paddle right out of the package ... which is not necessarily a bad thing unless you don't fit that description. Lightweight, small grip in length and width and not a wide paddle. Good for a beginner or a smaller person or for an extra paddle to have laying around for a visitor. But, you can't beat the price for the quality!

This is a good paddle
Phaser 2.0Background: Grew up playing tennis, ping pong and badminton.Bought this paddle on a recommendation from a player at the courts. A friend got some starter paddles that were terrible so it was time to get with the program. This paddle suits me very well. I've been playing for 8 months now and have become very competitive. I recently bought a second as a backup and a loaner if someone needs or if I break one. This paddle feels so comfortable. The grip and weight are perfect for me.While I might consider a different paddle for "more power", I just love the feel of this one. Maybe there will be another in my future? But for now, this is an extension of my hand and super comfortable. You can get power off of this paddle, but you need to put more into it from a few others I have tried. The problem with those was ... long handles. Tad heavy. Big grips. So, I have ZERO issues. You will love this paddle. I know i do. Good luck!!!

Good quality, with a reasonable price
I have been playing pickleball for about 5 months now, switching from tennis because of wrist surgery. I am now in the advanced-level group. I bought this paddle about 5 months ago and I found no problem with playing with it in the very high level game. In my opinion the paddle doesn't really matter that much. As long as it is not made of wood but of some kind of more advanced materials with a lighter weight. I can do whatever with this paddle in a pickleball game just that I did in a tennis game.

Flush mount edge guard saves lots of ball strikes.
This is a great paddle. It is lite weight. I’m a big strong guy so I have no problem getting velocity out of it. The GREAT thing about this paddle is the edge guard. It has a good deep guard to protect the surface but because it is FLUSH with the paddle surface those edge hits, which you make every game, go where you want them instead of off in space.I play at least three days a week, three hours at a time. We play outdoors on asphalt. I’ve had too many ground strikes but ZERO damage to the paddle. With the light weight my kitchen line play has improved a bunch. Love the grip although it is a little small for my big hands. Great paddle.

Terrible Company Support / Decent Paddle
I'm really disappointed with Gamma more than I am with the paddle itself. After taking the paddle out for the first time, I had the paddle edge chip on me! Minus the chip, the paddle performed perfectly which is why I still gave it a two star rating over a one start. I've tried contacting Gamma repeatedly and using different methods and have gotten zero response. Multiple phone calls have resulted in nothing but hold music. Unanswered support email after filling out a support form on their website. I even tried reaching out to them on Facebook and have not gotten a response. I would just like them to stand behind their product and honor their warranty. Please someone from Gamma, contact me!Edit: After leaving feedback here and on Facebook, Gamma did get in contact with me and has been working to fix the issues with support. Hopefully moving forward, they prioritize customer support!

Light and responsive with good balance of power and control
I like to use spin in my game and this paddle generates plenty with its textured fiberglass face. Its also just a bit lighter than other paddles I've played which I think helps reduce my shoulder pain. This paddle is used by several of the mid-level players on our local courts. I avoid backhand shots whenever possible because of a shoulder injury. The long handle is great for those who switch hands during play and I like the feel of the small circumference. Definitely a great value at $39.I have been playing with this paddle for about 6 months and there are a few very tiny chips in the face that dont seem to affect play. The grip material gets a bit slick when wet with sweat so a wrist band is a good idea.I saw another reviewer downgraded this paddle because it was not approved for tournament play. This is no longer correct. The Gamma Micron 2.0 is listed as PASS on the USAPA website.
