I bought this item because it matches my orange riding getup. I needed something to wear under my MTB helmet to keep the caustic sweat out of my eyes while shredding the trails. The simplicity of the thing is wonderful. I was skeptical at first due to it's no-frills design. Well, what do I know? It kept the sweat out of my eyes and helped keep my head cool. When I was done riding my hair was even dry! I sweat like a quarter horse that's been run a mile so I was impressed. I figured it wouldn't work so good since there is no terrycloth headband but it works wonderfully. And you really can't beat the price.

Protects my bald head from the sun. Not sure about the pirate hat part, most folks ask "Where's your motorcycle, or bike, or hog. Not once did anyone ask me where my parrot was or ask me to say ARRRRGH.I like it because it keeps the sun off my bald head, and if I am out "sporting" it fits under my brimmed hat.

I can't get this thing to stay on my head. It slides right off. I have to carefully put it on then place my cycle cap over it to get it to stay in place.

Bought this for a Halloween costume i was making and was more for a child's head then an adult males head. Very Very Very small.

I usually wear a bandanna everyday to work, and sometimes the pressure of the tightness gives me a headache. These do not. They are comfortable, breathable, colorful, and light weight
