Great start to a new series
This was a great start to a new series. I would have given 5 stars as I really enjoyed it but there are a few spelling and grammar issues, whilst they didn’t detract from the story for me, I need to keep my reviews fair. Also the female MC found things odd which the guys kept sweeping Uber the proverbial carpet, but I find it a bit odd as most people might have at least asked more questions or been a little bit more curious or suspicious. That said I understand why the FMC was a bit whiney and emotional and as long as it improves over the series I can accept it. I liked the world building and I very much looking to see what comes next. I really did enjoy the story, I didn’t struggle to read it, I didn’t really want to put it down. A readers muse wants to read and enjoys what it wants and this one really hit the spot for me.

interesting every page
I’m rereading the book, and it still holds up. It has a bit more twists than you’d expect but that’s what keeps it interesting. The main character is also very honest in her emotions, which makes the story more genuine. It’s truly one of the better werewolf stories I’ve read

Needy Much??
In all the werewolf books I have read, I have never known a Wolf to be that needy! The book was ok but, it got a bit tedious with all Lottie’s wining and all about me dramatics. I will start reading book 2 and I really hope it gets better or I won’t continue with the series.

brill
This one I really enjoyed. Lottie has no clue at all about her history and is suddenly thrown in he deep end and struggling to float and it only gets harder once she gets the truth.

How many mates can one Luna have?
Not sure what I wanna review on this series so farIt’s a good story that i can’t deny and I’m gonna attempt on book 2It’s just little things in book 1 that made me drop the starSo we have a 25 year old that’s just finished uni in the UKStory and the author are both from the UKUsually supernatural and especially werewolves stories are usually based in America lol I’m from the UK so I’m not judging lolAnyway our MC is offered a job up in the north east of EnglandIt’s a veterinary clinicAs you can gather she got her qualifications in veterinaryShe has this gift though that is very unusualShe can sense in animals mainly in the canine department when they are poorlyShe can diagnose it without doing anything to the animalAnyway one of the first things that puzzled me whether the author intended the MC to be so dumb I have no idea but every encounter with a animal in this new town is a wolf and not once does she question itAnother thing that puzzled me is when she finds out about people she has come across in this town end up being werewolves is that one particular person is actually a vampire and not once does she ask how he can stay outside in the day timeThere are certain parts of this story that come across more childish is that’s how I can describe it.The MC discovers she is actually a werewolf herself and that she has matesAnd again the way this all comes together isn’t great. It’s a shame as I think this story could be a lot better if it was just a tad bit written better.I can only assume the Author wanted to make this story more fun and playful and not taken seriouslyWith supernatural books esp when it comes to werewolves/ mates and my all time favourite RH it’s lacking the chemistry and the umpth you normally get.

Loved!
Such a great read, loved the authors take on shifters.Everything happens really quickly which is the main reason for not giving it 5 stars that and the few errors.I loved Lottie and her guys aswell as Lotties real parents and Katie. Theirs shocks and twists along the way! Which is what every good book should have.Cannot wait to dive into the next book to see what happens after that cliffhanger.

Great
The first chapter was repeated and I saw a few grammar/spelling errors but that’s common for an indie writer. The storyline was great and I loved the character development and development of her bonds with other characters. The cliffhanger was huge and I loved it and am so happy the rest of the series is completed

Need to be revised.
Has a lot of typing errors. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense what is said. It has to much repetitive tells, like she explains the story a lot of time in a row. Also the writing is a bit flat. Like need more writing style to make it more appealing.

Good Story
Okay so the story line and the characters are great. This book lost a star because of all the spelling and grammar issues.Once it receives a really good edit it will be a 5 star

Breath of fresh air!!!
I seriously did not want this book to end!! I love Lottie and her story. This is one of those books where you fall head first into the story and don't want to leave. Lottie finished school and is starting her first job as a vet in a small town. Unbeknownst to her, it is a supernatural town. They had hoped to slowly integrate her into the community, learn about the supernatural world and then have her take over the vet clinic. However, her first day there she meets her mates. Of course, she doesn't know this so she just thinks they are being super friendly with some small town and weirdness and vocab.Things get more intense as her wolf begins to surface, and Lottie finds out some shocking news. She eventually cannot deny what she has been piecing together and confronts the truth. A series of events occur and things go from everyday normal to overwhelming. In 24 hours her whole world is shifted. I feel for her and the truths that she has to accept. She struggles in the beginning, but eventually can't deny it. I feel like the story is starting to develop more when it ends sadly and me wanting more. The guys are uniquely different and diverse. Though the last 3 we don't get to know as much about yet. I definitely am a fan of River. The mountain quiet ones always get me 🥰 Noah seems pretty sweet, Caden is possessive, Warren is grouchy, Dillion is attentive, but kind of fades to the back. I think she is going to have to make sure he doesn't feel lesser because I can see it happening naturally because of his rank. Rhett and Warren still learning, but they seem good. Warren may be another rough around the edges type, but sweet in the middle. Eli, not sure yet... He hurt her in the past but it's also understandable from his POV, but I still feel like there are repairs that need to be done there. The guys frustrated me at the end. I was so there with Lottie that they were not being good mates and not helping her. They were so possessive and protective in the beginning, but then they just drop the ball. They leave her feeling insecure, unwanted, unprotected, and ultimately unprepared for what to expect as everything is new to her. She is learning about the pack life, her wolf, mate bonds, and being a wolf. Everything is new and overwhelming, and yet they just keep making stupid mistakes. They should be making her feel secure, loved and cherished. I'm not sure what happened the last night, but it would be interesting to know their thoughts because from her POV they abandoned her emotionally first by ignoring her, talking to another unmated female, and then physically by not checking on her or comforting her. Again.. they should know better. They keep things from her and it just hurts her more. (like that "prank" I'm pretty sure is an ex or jealous girl, but they don't say anything!!) They were very possessive in the beginning and have lived the life, but yet they ignore her feelings and inexperience with being a shifter. They need to step up and make amends. Do better guys. I felt the emotions and was gutted with her.But what I love about this book, is that Lottie is strong. She feels inadequate at times, but she is compassionate, she is kind, and she stands up for what is right. We get to experience this new world and her experiences through her eyes and with her. She is easy to like and want to root for. I think a lot is coming, that we are preparing for something big to come. So I hope the people on her life step up more and show her how loved she is because that will make her stronger. I kind of wish it was multiple POVS so I had more sense of the guys. Mild to medium Steam toward the end. It is set in England, so it is does have different phrases and spelling. A few small errors and stilted sentences, but does not and away from the story. This is a great story and I am so invested! I cannot wait for me. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
