Q: Will this product damage flowers?

I have used it for several years now with excellent results.I have not seen damage to flowers but the moss I kill is not anywhere near my wild flowers.Lilly Miller Moss out is only 10% Ferrous sulfate .....I have started using a 30% Fer Sulfate with even better results.Make sure your spreader is set correctly and try to steer clear of your flowers.Hope this helps....moss likes acidic soil so add some pulverized lime to the soil.

Do you have Moss? I had put down mulch in one of my places and it worked.

Q: When is the best time to apply moss max? Does rain effect when to apply, and morning or when?

The moss needs visiable moisture on it and it doesn’t matter when it is applied. Works great!

Q: Can I apply this in a hot weather? Like, middle of summer when the tempreture is on 90 - 100 degrees?

I’ve used this in all types of weather. I live in Northern Michigan and I’ve applied in hot and cold. It’s not a one step killer. I’ve had to apply a couple of times as the moss is a hardy vegetation !!
