If you spend the Crazy amount of money on the Matterport Pro3 this case is a must have. The interior has all of the cutouts for the camera, the charger, the charger cord, the batteries, and lights you might have.

This is a very nice solidly built case. The one I received came with pick & pluck foam to create your own custom cutouts. It says Matterport but there is nothing custom to that camera (other than the name) in this case.To be sure it is a well made travel case that will protect whatever you store inside. It's hard on the outside, soft on the inside! Latches are solid, grip tight and easy to release. The lid has a rubber gasket to provide a watertight seal. There is a pressure relief valve right under the handle and holes in the case molding to attach pad locks to secure the contents. If there wasn't a Matterport decal on the front I'd swear I was looking at a Pelican case.Like some have mentioned the interior foam liner really stinks a strong chemical smell. I opened the case, separated the foam linings and left it outside on the back patio for a week and the smell is gone - solved.

The design for this looks almost identical to SKB, a huge case manufacturer, albeit with some different latches and a slightly different design on the outside, but the handle and the contours pretty much say "SKB".. However, when I opened it, it suddenly did not SMELL like SKB... I am not sure if it is the closed-cell foam that is in there for the camera or what, but it is NOT the pick foam like I thought it was going to be, it is a molded case already, thankfully it can be removed. However, the smell is extremely strong, and not really sure how long it will take to air that out. It is so bad I had to knock one star off of it because it is something I cannot use for a while until the smell is not as strong. The case itself though is well made and should last a lifetime, just as long as the smell doesn't.

This is a heavy duty case! Super strong, and even the smaller size works well to fit all my gear! Thicker foam padding inside to really help keep things from moving around between jobs! - (not able to re-arrange for other gear so works best with the 360° pro2 camera set) - great for anyone who’s using a pro2 and making a living with real estate photography! - 10/10 a winner! Reminds me heavily of the durable pelican case that I was using before with my own foam inserts!

When I first saw this case advertised, and that it was made by Condition 1 for Matterport for their $3,400 camera system, I tried to understand how it could cost so much more than the really nicely made Condition 1 cases. Already owning numerous Condition 1 cases, I assumed you were only paying for the fancier name on the case. I was wrong.Unlike other interior pictures of the Matterport case on this site, the case I received is significantly nicer than the Condition 1 cases. The case itself is nicely made, the handle a nicer quality. The latches have a dual-locking system, different than the traditional cases. These are much more secure. There are two places to secure the case with a lock, as well.The foam lining is more than just the traditional “tear-out” foam chunks. This foam has greater density and does not have the pre-scored foam that is easier to cut apart. It was made for one purpose – to protect a Matterport camera system.Waterproof and loaded with high-density foam padding, this case is designed to protect your investment.

This is a very commercial grade solid case that if it was accidentally dropped out of an airplane the contents in it would survive. Yes, there is some adjusting of the foam to satisfy your specific needs and equipment, and yes you may need to buy more foam. The description says that this case is for cameras, tripods, equipment, with foam insert for Pro 2 3D camera, but really you can set this thing up how ever you want for whatever you want. The case is very intimidating and looks like something you would see a person walking out of the Pentagon with! The handle feels very good in the hand, and the latches are very unique where there is no way that they could open up on their own. The build quality is strong and solid, and I can highly recommend this case. WARNING: You will need to take the foam insert out and let the foam sit outside for hours because of the very strong chemical smell. After several hours the smell is gone and you can start to use it, and customize it.

Nice case, but there's nothing about it that makes it specific to the Matterport Pro2 Camera. Its just a Condition1 brand, hard case, with pluckable foam on the inside.The foam is pluckable and unformed, with two layers at your disposal for plucking away as you wish to fit your needs. Foam is nice and better than what's used in some of my other Condition1 hardcases (less dust while plucking).But aside from the Matterport sticker on the outside, its just a regular 'ol hardcase that can be used with any equipment you so desire.I have other Condition1 hardcases and they're absolutely fantastic. They're rugged and reliable, protecting my gear against shock and water. Quality is top notch.

There was a bad smell at first, then I left the box open several days and the smell was gone. This smell may be from the material used to glue the inside of the bag. It can be used in other materials as it is sturdy and foamy inside.

The case arrived safely, and it comes nicely packed inside a sturdy cardboard box.Everything about this case is incredibly well engineered, it’s very high quality and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design and functions of it. the case offers the ultimate protection for your gear and its super durable with even the weaker areas like the hinges are well reinforced. The only slight drawback mine has is that the wheels are made from a smooth, soft plastic instead of the rubber off-road type tyres you can see in the manufacturers images.The case is both water and dustproof, you can tell as every time you unlock it you can hear some air being released. When you open the case, you must first release the five latches by pushing down on the red switches before you can lift them up. For security, there are two 1cm diameter padlock holes located on the front of the case.The foam on the inside is pre-cut to accommodate your Pro2 camera, tripod, and accessories. The manufacturers description mentions it has 5 layers of pluckable foam, but this is incorrect, the foam in the case I received cannot be modified but the whole block can easily slide out so you could put your own custom one in if you wish. The foam is very high quality and would definitely do an excellent job of protecting your gear.As you can imagine for a heavy-duty case it weighs quite a lot, even when empty. If you need two people to carry it, then there is a handle on each side of the case, but you can also wheel it around by pulling up the handle of the back of the case. The two side handles have a rubber covering on the underside of them, but the roller handle is just hard plastic.Overall, I think this is the ultimate heavy-duty case for keeping your expensive Matterport camera gear very well protected and it’s such a high-quality item. Clearly, the description and images on this page need updating as the case I received has quite a few differences in the design but most of them seem for the better, so I imagine this is the newer revision that’s all. It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel it’s worth the full five stars, buy with total confidence!

This is the strongest case I've seen in a while. I could say it is bulletproof and nothing can get into it, not even a heavy hit by the hammer if you wish. This fact is showing how well protected your gear would be if you decide to get this case for it.Inside the case is super thick and well-cut hard foam for every bit of gear to fit in its place and stay where you left it. No shakes, movement or any similar activity of the gear can happen. This means your gear will be safe at any time under any conditions.However, after opening it I got hit by a strong unpleasant smell that filled in my room in no time. This smell is the same as hydrogen peroxide. I am familiar with this smell as my mom is a hairdresser and I often can smell the same thing when she is dying her or someone else hair. I'd strongly recommend you to take it outside and open it outdoors and leave it to ventilate for a few hours.To continue with benefits you will get where the majority is on its rigid composition is that to close or open the case you have safety lock clips which have push and unclip mechanism. This provides reliability and the case won't open in any way if you are not expecting it to open.Smooth-rolling wheels allow you to roll the case without any notice of how heavy it is or that you have gear inside either.Overall, it is a strong, rigid and perfect reliable case for expensive equipment that can be carried in it.

If you are looking for a hard case for your Pro2 3D camera, this one from Matterport is for you as it provides top-notch protection.The portable hard case has an outer dimension of 31.6 x 20.1 x 12.66 inches and an inner dimension of 28.4 x 17.32 x 10.61 inches. It is made from tough and lightweight polypropylene copolymer that includes convoluted foam that is glued into the lid. It has a 2 inch thick base pad and 5 layers of 1.38 inch pluckable foam interior that allows you to customize the fit to your items and protect your camera from any impact.In addition, this case has push-button latches and a rubber grip over the moulded handles for added comfort and off-road style wheels. It also has a rugged o-ring seal that has an automatic air pressure release valve to make the air and water tight up to 3 feet deep, making it waterproof and dustproof.Upon receiving and opening the package, I noticed that it is well-made, robust and seems to last long. This case is specifically designed to carry a GoPro camera, I think made by Matterport and which costs well over £2000. If you’re a professional photographer with expensive equipment, or even an amateur who takes the camera everywhere, this case is definitely going to provide the protection needed for expensive equipment and will be worth every penny.It’s made of some type of plastic shell, so it’s totally rigid. The wheels are strong and roll evenly and the clips are very secure. It can be licked. The extending handle is comfortable to hold and pulls out and returns with ease. On opening there’s a very strong chemical smell from the foam interior. I took it outside and left it open for a couple of hours and the smell faded. The cut outs are designed to ensure that once the camera and accessories are placed, they’ll be totally secure and not affected by movement. So the case delivers exactly what’s expected from a high end item. I’ve seen other cases for less, but this one does have the edge in terms of appearance and quality so I guess you get what you pay for. I have guitars and pay a similar price for hard cases for secure travel and it’s worth the cost to protect an expensive Fender. For that reason, despite the smell, I’ve given this 5 stars.

At the the time of writing this review this Camera backpack is currently selling on Amazon for £144.I will be quite honest and say that I do not own the camera that this rucksack is designed to protect -I simply got this from Amazon Vine,because it is suck a high quality,well made rucksack.The rucksack looks even better in person than it does from the images on its Amazon listing.The rucksack is fully waterproof,has comfortable,adjustable,padded shoulder straps,Padding on the back of the rucksack for comfortable wearing.A fully padded laptop pocket on both sides.The main camera pocket is also fully padded and ahas a smaller mesh pocket in their for accessories.On the sides of the rucksack is another mesh pocket for a sports bottle or flask and on the opposite side strong velcro straps that can be used to hold a camera tripod.Also,included is a waterproof black sack and padded velcro sheets that you can utilize to customise protection to your camera or indeed other devices.This rucksack is going to make a great gift for my wife,who will use it has her go to rucksack for work.The rucksack is a good size,not being overly burdensome,whilst still maintaining good capacity.I like the combination of colours used in this rucksack the elegant black body of the bag,matches well with the red interior.Top,little rucksack-very happy with it.5 Stars from me.I hope you find my review helpful.
