Good knife
knife got here quickly. well made, good steel, not sharpened well. I resharpen most knives I buy to suit my preferences, so this was no big deal. time will tell how it holds an edge but I expect it will be just fine.

carbon steel stains do not buy if you want a flashy knife.
I love these. This is my favorite series of knives. They are light with heavier handles, the metal is somehow hard but soft & pliable very good for sharpening and long hours in the kitchen. Do know do to the nature of this metal it will stain and blemish no matter what you do but its a workhorse and will last you forever.

SHARP EDGE
I absolutely LOVE this knife. It's the perfect utility length -- and very, very sharp! I sliced leftover steak THIN for sandwiches, and it actually sliced thin slices!
