The size is as stated. Hoping it would fit nicely for a size 9--It works, but sometimes it gets a little too snug (but that also depends on the shoe.)It is decently comfortable.The non-slip piece in the back works, but it slightly irritates my skin. ("Slightly" as it rarely happens, but it does happen.)Overall, I like them.

These are very clever for those of us who don't like skin on shoe but like to wear summer shoes. I wear a size 7 shoe and these were too big for me, no differentiation for size on these, one size only. These are very clever and if your feet are size 8 or larger you should be fine. I wouldn't recommend for smaller feet. One of them kept slipping off of the heel but the other one seemed to stay on better. They work, just not perfect for smaller feet - although I consider my feet medium not small. If your foot is smaller than size 7 they will fall of your foot.Tip for those of you with smaller feet I often buy socks/ low rise socks/ "Peds" in the girls department at Target, the medium girls' size fits a size 7 women's foot. However they don't have a lot of styles, just the basics.
