ShiftCamPro Camera Strap, Compatible with ProGrip & Most phone cases

Just arrived today. The good news is the wrist strap looks comfortable and like I will last. However, the connectors seem cheap and difficult to attach/detach, also how does one open that ring thing to attach it (no instructions), finally, in the above image, what is the thing I circled in red? I didn’t receive one with my order but can’t figure out what it is?

High quality but don’t be misled by the photos - it will not hang over one shoulder with your phone a little above your waist as in two of the photos and w/ the other pictures it is hard to tell the true length. Just not as depicted.

I purchased this to go with my ShiftCam mount. I use a camera/ my iPhone in the field and thought this would solve a problem I have when I need a free hand. The strap is good quality but not nearly ong enough. When attached to the camera mount and around your neck, the cord is not long enough to pull the camera up to shoot. I basically just use the hand strap that comes with the Shift Cam Mount. I would have probably liked the wrist strap better.

The QR code to the instructions on how to use it routes to a broken link. I requested a manual from the manufacturer’s website and got no reply…

The top of the Amazon product page advertises a hand strap for sale, but the bottom advertises a neck strap. I was pleasantly surprised to get the neck strap; however, it came without installation instructions and the QR code on the box for the instructional video does not work. If I could find neck strap installation instructions, I would gladly keep it and rate it 5 stars.

I really wanted to like this, but I don’t think it’s worth the cost and sending back. The cord is too short. To use with the pro grip it’s hard to get the clips in. I don’t feel like the clips are high quality and don’t want to risk my phone.

Not really what I expected and can't swap out the metal clip with what I want to use, like a loop or carabiner.

This is a really good quality neckstrap to swap over from the wrist strap on my ProGrip. I also discovered there's an insert that I can put underneath my phone case and it attaches to the neck strap, meaning I can wear my phone around my neck. The quick release mechanism on the neck strap means I can quickly swap between 'wearing' my phone or my ProGrip.
