I'm 175 lbs and 5'4 and I was looking for something to help shape my body for when I go out and this does the job. I got an XL which I thought would be a good size but surprisingly it was a little too big. It was folding a little but that was because I got a bigger size than I needed. So if you're going to buy this go smaller because shape wear is meant to compress and shape your body

5'4" 170ish curvy. I love this body shaper. I was afraid to buy this online without trying it on because it's difficult finding the correct body shaper that you like. I've tried many types. I bought it for my post surgery body compression garment and I really like it. It's tight in the waist and abdomen area but not the buttocks area so it doesn't flatten you out back there. The two negatives, for my body type and shape is that one, it's too tight in the thigh area and digs into my thighs causing the garment to show through certain outfits. And two, the peri area hole is annoying and difficult using the restroom. I wish it had less restriction to the thigh area and a snap in place for the crotch area instead of the cut out hole. Other than that it does hold me in tight.
